That's how I grow autos. Right in the 5 gallon pot for that reason. Some folks do pot changes and have no seen trouble , but I stick with one pot to keep stressless as possible.

Autos at the moment and yes I will be starting a journal and just going through a few few things in the tent beforehand with temp , humidity and exhaust.
