Yeah from a different area though. I've worked with her for years, probably my favourite strain. It's been kept pure since late 50's.Looking good. Is the sticky a Durban as well?

Hi LR. How do you check for hermes when making seed and breeding? I would like to work with the seed that is coming from Mama TK x Studley if I can. Do you have an online guide to recommend, or could you perhaps explain please? Like a step by step instruction... is there such a thing?I've just pollinated two of her branches. One with sticky xwild male and the other with the Transkei male. The transkei male was only because they are both such strong growing plants and it's likely going to be a goodie. I want to harvest the big lady as well as the seeds but mostly because I want to see her finished and tested as well as for herms. Better to check first before investing time to make a couple hundred or thousand seeds. And then they are kak. I've got some monster crops rooting and pollen in the freezer so I'll be good to start in a month or so.
OK so here is the deal... your female is stable enough, well looks that way. The male is stable. You should be fine to go. The only real way that I know of to test if any hermie genes were passed on is to grow out about 10 to 20 seeds and see how they do and how they make it to the finish.I think you will be OK but when dealing with african sativas it's always a possibility. Out of 10 you should be able to find some that are stable and doing what you want then to do. Those you can clone and keep any manly males to repollinate your chosen females. Each time you do this you will lock in a bit more of the desired traits. Thanks mate. I'd appreciate that.
