So nothing much to report except for this interesting and hopefully successful mistake...well sort of mistake.
So, while I was dropping seeds in the little cups I was at the same time spore printing some panaeolus cinctulus mushrooms I collected that day. A couple prints looked kinda light and not as good as the others. Just for curiosity sake, I flicked a partial spore print over the cups. I wasn't expecting anything at all.
The last few days I've been watching the mycelium colonize some of the clover seed that made its way into the cups.
I've just full on buried a spore print in one of the cups with no seeds. It would be pretty cool to fruit some of these mushies this easily with no sterilized materials, just a print and cup of soil.
Here is the beginnings
Here is the print I've just buried
Have a wonderful day. I'll be collecting some fresh mushrooms this afternoon at the horse riding spot.
