Welcome To My New Journal - OMMSOG

No, I wouldn't change a thing...for the very reasons just you said.

I think it is (or should be) a goal for a lot of people to be able to say that...and a blessing if you can :peace:

Only on page 101....but I'll get caught up again!!!!!!

:surf:

Dang Omm, my fingers are hurting from scrolling and clicking so much!:rofl::laughtwo::smokin::slide::surf::smokin:

P.s I love you how and Thsea have a life behind the scenes!!! That would be so cool to get in touch with other people :cheer:

Hi MissBud !

I know what you mean....I'm always going back and forth too......but I wouldn't have it any other way....I am blessed with my Journal and the folks that visit.

Thanks about the church.....she is spread out right now on a table top ...since I got the AC, it's changed how things dry now. I will be trying new ways of drying now. Already have some ideas and will be testing them out.

Thanks about MOTM. I'm very proud of that...who wouldn't be?

Congrats on Nug of the Month !!!

Now, that's good news. I am happy for you...about time things turned your way! Busy is good!

Your so right.....being able to share things with THsea and Chronic is a real delight. Wish everyone had that special treat.

Thanks for such a cheerful post!

I know, I love the relationship that they have along with Chronic. I am happy for them but also green with envy, wish I had some friends like that. I have been wanting to reach out to a few folks on here including yourself but I don't want to seem needy or like a stalker..lol And congrats to you lady on your NOTM win, I haven't peeped the winning nug but I am sure you deserve it!!!

Do it Queen! Reach out...there is no one that would think bad things about you...we are all in this together!:thumb:

Okay...I'm finally caught up again!

It sucks because until I'm current I read something that I want to comment on, but I can't because I'm still like 8 pages back and I won't know what was said until I'm caught up!

On the subject of doctors an pharmaceuticals...I just copied this off the FDA's website:

You read that correctly... 100,000 people die every year from adverse reactions to medications that the FDA has already certified are SAFE. :) Their stats, not mine!

I've seen statistics that claim as many as half a million people every year are killed by the medical system....I even have a friend with a relative that went in for a routine gallbladder surgery and never came home.

I'm glad you did catch up Vapedogg223 ! Thanks!

I knew things were bad.....just watching med ads on TV.....frighting what they are telling us.

I had no idea things were THAT bad! I'm going in for a simple biopsy on my eye lid tomorrow...wish me luck!

Thank you for your research...we all need to know this. Good for you!

Hi MsMe I agree...we are what we are through our experiences. We may as well except them, we are who we are. :thumb:

I've been toying with the idea of breaking my journals into smaller pieces.....that maybe help on the size...what do you think?:surf: I'm not sure they would be consistent that way tho.

I guess I would consider myself a freedom activist! But very little chaps me more than being lied to by our government!

:circle-of-love: :goodluck: :circle-of-love:

I'm sending all the positive thoughts I can muster your way my friend!

:Namaste:

Thank You my friend :thumb:

You have a long hill to climb then, our Government has been lying to us a long time, "for our own good".

Home Land Security has the right to do anything they want to. The end of freedom stopped on 9/11.

So much for Freedom by the people, for the people. Our own apathy let this happen. Depressing isn't it? :smokin:

I understand but...........there is always a but lol
I am currently testing a new (to the usa) insulin pump. This same pump has been in use in Europe for 2 years. Yet, this corp has to have it pass FDA testing even though this pump has been tested over and over again in Europe and in use for 2 years.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that lobbyists are in the back pocket of so many people in DC that you can get anything passed quickly, just depends on how much your willing to pay to get it passed.
I think we do need some type of tort reform as this is what drives up the costs so much of our prescriptions. Here my insulin costs me 128 a bottle.......Canada it's 33. Why? Tort reform is why. Same insulin, same company

You're absolutely right! The quick answer on price is costs...It's estimated that the average cost today to discover a compound, bring it through all the development, testing, trials, and eventually to market is $400 million, but can rise to over $1 billion, and can take over 10 years to get there.

The FDA has an incestuous relationship with the big pharmaceutical companies. It lets them corner the market by discouraging any new companies entering the market by shear cost of the clinical trials, which run between $100 and $800 million per drug candidate...and in return that money is fed back into the bureaucracy. It's a giant circle...well you know what it is...and after all that we can't even get drugs that won't kill AT LEAST 100,000 people every year?

Sorry...I'm done now! :Namaste:

Best of luck to you on your biopsy. Hope you are home smokin a bowl to the good news in no time!:thumb:

Hey Thanks Buddy. It happens about 1 pm my time and supposedly I can drive home afterwards....then I go back on the 12th for a follow up. It will be another experience I've never had before. What ever that means!:cheesygrinsmiley:

You're absolutely right my friend. The big push started on 9/11...but I think it began even earlier in Oklahoma City in 1995. If you can see it, there's documentary called a Noble Lie that everyone should watch IMHO.

What upsets me most, is when I think of all the lives lost to found this once great nation, and defend our freedom since then...and we take what they gave their lives for, and toss it away because of contrived fear.

It really is very sad.

Hey OMM, fell behind a bit. Things a bit hectic around these parts. Daughter with prom and graduation and all.
Congrats on MOTM Your one busy guy around here thats for sure! I don't know where you find all the time lol
Trying my hand at NOTM with my urban poison!

Hi Alaskan1 :high-five: You and me both! I understand life gets in the way sometimes. Thanks about MOTM. To me it means I've spent my time well. :bravo:

That's the spirit! Go for it! It's fun just to enter. It's a good time too..jandre made sure the cheaters are gone now. That was disgusting in my eyes. Just shows a slice of society we don't like.

About you other post.....its who you know and money...like you said. The pump works, why not use it to help folks like yourself?

Take care my friend! :thumb:

It is sad. I could have bailed and went to Canada during Nam, I went because of my country. Sadly, I was booed when I got back.

I will look for "A Noble Lie".

I don't know if it's still taught, but there was a class at UCLA called "State of Fear". It was based on how to keep the Nation in a State of fear. Another means of control. There was a book by that name too...it was about Global Warming and the truth. Maybe that's been baned too. Jeez!
:smokin:
