Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Nice T5 light. I did not know there was a non HO version. Odd about 4200K and 2700K. But good choice. I'll keep my light about 2 to 4 inches off Topps moreover, put a temp probe under lights.

:passitleft: thanks Stage. We are surely winding down. We smoked a bit out of the new pipe, have eaten a cannabrownie, and now have a vape in hand. Oh! Speaking of vaping, where did you get the adapter for the vape to bong setup you have? That's bada$$, and we want to try it too. Lol!! Thanks for stopping by my friend. :passitleft:

Yeah I didn't know if there was a difference or anything since it was all new to me and didn't want a bulb to explode lol. Oh and there is that thermometer that is under there. Temps got to 83 during the hottest part of the day today. Not bad but I think I'll leave the tent open during the day and see if we can get in the 70s.

As promised I am on the scene with an Auto Update!!!

Here we have Early Miss Auto Audrey
She is starting to get some amber on her tric's

This little beauty is Thunder Bloody Mary.
She was the smaller of the first two plants I've shown so far. Now she has many more bud sites that are getting bigger, and her flowers are packing on the sugar. Her tric's are also turning amber

This girl is a grower. Green crack Auto. She is 8 days younger than the first two. She is pretty big for an auto, bigger than some of our photos even.

That's all I have for this evening. I hope you all are having a relaxed evening, I know I will. :Namaste:

Just a smile, 83 would be perfect in my tent. I think my plants do better around 82-83. If my tent read 70 I'd be looking for some CFLs to add heat. It tickles me how differently we all grow. :laughtwo:

Don't worry about the gym sock smell Nismo. That smell profile has been known to pop up on a few strains. I've had it as well. It will likely change at some point. Probably to a cat piss smell. LOL!

I've read that in other journals. I think it was Duggan. He just harvested without an issue. I'm guessing we are smelling the tri's turning amber. I read somewhere the amber color is from the tri's decaying.
We aren't looking forward to the cat piss smell. Lol!!

LOL!

You should look forward to it. Every strain that has ever had that smell, has been straight fire. Ok, so I've only grown 2 plants with that smell... but still.

It's nice to see auto buds. I've learned that autos go into flower when they want but when growing inside, do you change to a different light when they bloom? What light is above your autos and what schedule have you used?
I'm sure that info is in your journal but I'm spending too much time on here and my actual farm work isn't getting done. I wish my 40 acres were all "pot" instead of woods, corn and soybeans :yummy:

Autos can flower under any light schedule. Most common is 20/4 but we are doing 12/12 just so they can be in the same flower room. If there is no room in there like right now, they will stay in the veg room of 18/6. Outdoors you can get a couple harvests a year since they are so fast and flower when they want.

My best yielding auto's have been grown 18/6 during the 'veg' phase and 12/12 during the 'flowering' phase :)

Oh hell yeah! Lol. The autos are under 600 watts of HPS so that is a more suitable place for them since the 600 MH lights are higher just to get better light coverage. In all honesty we could use another light in veg but they are doing just fine with what is there. If they take a bit longer to veg, so be it since we only have so much room in flower.

My understanding is, mid to high 70s for MH/HPS, low to mid 80s for LEDs. There was a video around here somewhere where some dude told us why. Can't remember. I've had autos under LEDs in mid to high 80s for most of their life with little issue.

See, this surprises me. We've seen a noticeable increase in yields since going 20/4 from 18/6 for their entire life. Mind you we've made a number of other changes as well, so it's hard to separate the effects.

Once we get more flowering space I'll have to try it, don't yet have the room to screw with what is working.

You are on the money. 80° is hardstop on HID, LED'S have higher PAR energy and will keep leafs hotter. 1000 watt HPS about 440 PAR watts. Red light counts 2x blue light. 1000 watt MH about 385 PAR watts. Hell, my 400 watt MH only has 110 PAR watts but killed it on veg.

Cheers

For the veg room under the MH we shoot for 77-82. A good 5 degree swing and they are fine with it. In flower the max I have seen with 3 leds and the HPS is 84. Usually is 80-81. We have the fans on controllers and have dialed it in to get into this sweet zone. For the T5 though I wanted to get where Jorge Cervantes said the magic number for growing was... 76. It is around 80 in there and they will do just fine.
