Alright guys. This is what we do to get the live rosin.
1. Wash the buds
2. De-stem the buds and leaves.
3. Get rid of the fan leaves
4. Freeze the buds and sugar leaves
5. Put frozen buds and sugar leaves in bh machine.
6. Follow the manufacturers directions on how to use machine
7. Drain machine into bubble bags
8. Strain out the water from bubble bags
9. Collect bh and let it sit 24 hours on a 25 mic filter over cardboard
10. Collect bh
11. Put bh in a rosin bag
12. Put rosin bag in center of a folded piece of parchment paper
13. Press that shit
14. Collect rosin
15. Get high as fuck.

Now if these instructions aren't clear enough, I am prepared to throw in the towel. Lol!

Regarding step 13, when you "press that shit" do you use heat? and if so what temp? :hmmmm:

Temp 205° F

We put the parchment paper/rosin bag centered on the plates. We hand crank the top plate down so it's got a light pressure on the parchment. Let it sit like that for 30 seconds to get things all eewey gooey. Apply full pressure for 60 seconds to get that nectar of the gods to flow. Release the plates. At this point we usually remove the puck and let the parchment fold over itself again. We then put the parchment with all the rosin on it in the freezer. Give it a few mins then take it out and start to collect it immediately while it's cool. Otherwise collecting the warm or room temp rosin is like trying to fight your way out of a spider web. You get it everywhere but where you really want it. Lol! After we collect it, we put it in a silicon dab container (or 6, depending on if you mix the different micron sizes or if you keep them all seperate).

Then repeat step 15 over and over.

The main point of live rosin is that 1. It must be alive and fresh when you freeze it. 2. You must turn your material into bubblehash first to squish it. If you squish fresh bud you will get a puddle of rosin water haha

Canna this is a perfect step by step in my opinion, do you guys microplane or sieve the BH at all before drying? Or do you just dry the blobs?
 
Hey canna , Nis and friends....just one small correction 'C' OK. Step #9 ....put the wet BH on that pc. of 25 micron screen ,..but put it on paper towel first , to get most of the water out,..then over to the cardboard and chop it up small so it dries properly Ok.If ya just put it on the screen , on the cardboard it will be way too wet...get rid of all the water first with the paper towel OK! For SF...hey bud ,..NO the BH has to be chopped up first when it sits on the cardboard. DO NOT leave it in "blobs" Ok,..have to chop it up into wee pcs. and spread it out on the CB to dry overnight! Then , the next day you can press it, smoke it, play with it etc...but it has to dry overnight on the Cb...cheers !
