Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

from what I have read 90 degrees is OK if there is enough light lIke 1000w hps. don't remember what the reasoning is but I still try to keep my 1000w in the mid 80's. I use a intake fan with ducting going to an ac vent to accomplish that. :thumb:
85° is what LED'S can run, HPS with CO2 in sealed room too. My hardstop is 80° with fans on ar 73° off at 71°. 1050 watt SHPS will cycle fans off few min, run about 20 min with room in mid 60°. LED'S or sealed CO2. , over 85° photosynthesis will break down and leafs overheat. But your plants look great, not sure why this came up.

Cheers

oh right forgot they said pumping co2 is reasoning behind using higher temps with a higher wattage hps. I try to keep mine below 85 though. think they said with co2 it can go higher but still better to keep it under 85. just half remembering something I read once so I would listen to millertm. :high-five:

Or...
Feral's Perpetual Feminized Pollen & Seed Production

There are a couple great journals out there. Kick your feet up and do some reading.

We will make sure to have the info and step by step here as well. We are going to try and hit all of the bases of this plant. We are just as curious as everyone here. No one person knows it all, but I am not afraid to try.

Thanks man, the night is still long, might as well get some extra knowledge :nomo:

Well with all the time at work I did this weekend, a new light will be on order this week for Sparkle when she goes into flower. Since she is a big girl and we are shooting for a pound dry, she will require her own light. I have been looking at Advanced LED and Amare so far for lighting options. This will be needed for flower only as of right now. Would like to have concentrated light covering 4'x4'. Actually thinking about it now, I'll look at the perfect sun 1000 again. Any and all idea are welcome. Would love to keep it under $1,000. Don't have a problem spending that considering what she will give us in weight. It'll be worth it just in one grow with it.

Let's hear your ideas people! Biggest thing I want is quality and proper light coverage. :thanks: RoorRip

Fluxing day 44

She is coming along quite well. Dowel rods were put to help keep her down. She kept pulling the stakes out of the soil.

That ia awsome. Very well presented and groomed. Your an extremely tallented lady. Id also like to talk to you about making butter.

THE GREEN RACER.
As I can't take credit for the flux because she's nis' baby, I can help with butter making. I'll look up some information on decarbing for you. Thanks for asking me. I'm honored to help. :thanks:

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Here's the link. This is the first step in making butter.

Decarboxylation

Then I put the broken up, decarbed buds in the croc pot on low. You will use 1 stick of butter to each 1/4 Oz of buds. Then add equal parts of water to the butter and buds. Let simmer on low for 5 hrs minimum. We have let it go 9 hrs before. Then strain the butter through a cheese cloth, or a fine mesh screen to seperate the liquids from the solids.
Put the butter water in the fridge until the butter is solid. Remove butter from the top of the water. That's what you use for cooking. I like to use the water for hydration in the worm composter, or you can just dump it. Then you are done and can start using the butter for baking/cooking.

You can also make good budder with a pressure cooker, keeps the smell down and it is surprisingly easy, here's the thread where I got the process from

I am so taken with the flux girlrls, 'Living Sculpture' :adore:

Thanks for the link! I'll get to read it later after work. And thanks for the comps on our flux. She's gonna be a monster

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Great show you two have going here. Having a trusted co-grower made all the difference for us as well. :)

The CannaNismo Montana12 show, or is that NismoCanna? I'll let you fight that out.

... sorry for the intrusion on this journal but no one is helping with mine I figured I can grab someons attention thanks

Welcome to 420mag Nobyl. I've subbed up to your journal now after searching for yours posts, but you can help others find it by adding it to your signature. Instructions are in my (and many others of course) signatures if you need a hand with it.
