Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

What up D?! How's things in your corner of the world? Things here are moving right along. Did you let Ziggs take the DeLorean a couple months ago? I know how he likes to leave Marijuana plants in public places. I was wondering if he came here in the DeLorean and planted that aloe girl. Lol! Have a good day man!
everything ok!on cell. bad to com with!dont like it!.hope you are well woman.....say hi to nis would ya!

Now what I really want to do, is take one of those chambers of the BD wax we have, add it to a double boiler style "water bath", and see if it will re liquify. What are your thoughts on this?
If my theory on the glandular heads still being intact after being pressed is correct then yes they should keep in mind this would only work with really good hash.

This is called sugaring up and it is the result of nucleation. Nucleation happens when a mix begins to separate due to waxes in the rosin or hydrophilic terps. It is like when rock candy precipitates around a single piece of sugar. Or when water surrounds a single piece of airborne material, freezes and becomes snow.

In the course of a day a sappy rosin can turn opaque and crumbly. It may even look "wet"
I wouldn't mess with remelting it as any heat used will degrade the product. Just dab it the rosin is fine.
When my huck kush was a little fresher it would sugar up when pressed into rosin. There was still a little moisture and also more terps. But well cured HK won't go grainy. I actually prefer the grainy as it is more flavorful for me.
If you lost terps that strain my have very volatile terps. To prevent this all from happening try to keep things cooler and in the dark. But some are just gonna do that no matter what you do.

So, after reading through all that, it's your recommendation I do a dab asap. Lol!

In all seriousness, thanks for the info! It helps to ease our minds knowing what we did wasn't wrong. The waxy stuff melts, and makes huge white smoke clouds, so all is good in that department. Lol! Thanks again for your help. I'll go do a dab for ya!

So here's a question for you Canna. I think you use a titanium e-nail. If that is correct, what temperature do you use for dabs?

Or same question for anyone else using a titanium e-nail. What temperature for dabs is preferred?

hi canna and nis.....and friends. On phone so please be patient with me ok! Fyi.....about pressing bubblehash
as soon as bh is pressed...ALL the gland heads will rupture....the waxy membrane that coats the heads breaks....causing the rapid degradation of thc and all cannabinoids.i always leave my bh in powdered/granular form to preserve potency while while being stored.look at some before pressing.....then after....you will see. Before looks like a bubblebath.....after is quite different!

We have found with normal rosin extractions from flower, which are pressed at 200 degrees with a 30 second "warm up" and 60 seconds of press (Could go a bit longer though I think), we run the nail at 625 - 630 degrees. The terps are insane at this low heat. With the hash rosin, the waxy stuff, doesn't melt the way it should I noticed last night. So the rig got turned up to 700 and it melted a lot better and the flavor was still there. Tasted just like the flower does as well, very blueberry.

We are still in the 'experimental' stages of all of this so still trying to figure it out. I've started to go through shigg's rosin thread again lately trying to see if we can get it dialed into perfection.

Thank you man....exactly what I wanted to know. I was running nail 650 but last few times I dabbed at 550 which is a little slow but my old lungs can keep up. As for any comparisons....can't give them. Except that the dab I just did took my legs from under me...

All my current rosin made from Panama green pheno...pretty good stuff in rosin form

Question for anyone that can answer since we are on the subject, but is there a preferred length of time of the trim being frozen before put through the bubble bags?? Chopping my girls down Friday and plan on using bubble bags for the trim, just want to use the most effective methods during the whole process... Dry ice versus regular ice etc.
