Yes it is. How it works is, the icy cold water freezes the oil (hash) on the plant. Then the mixer beaters help separate the hash from plant material. Then we dump it through the bubble bags with the different sized filters. Then we use a spoon to collect the hash from the screen. We let it dry on parchment. Some people use cardboard, but the hash stuck to it when we did it that way.

Now that we have hash, we can put it in some rosin bags and squish it between two hot plates to make rosin (oil). You can use that oil in many things like edibles, dabs, tincture, capsules, suppositories, etc.

Noice. So the second picture is the pressed rosin? If taken orally like RSO how does the effect compare? Can it be taken sublingually?
 
great morning to ya C and N...ya Canna ...with the cardboard....it works the very best! Here's how....take the freshly scooped hash and lay it on the little pc. of 25m. screen you got with your bags over top of a pad of folded up paper towels.After a few mins. transfer over to the big sheet of cardboard and cut it up into really small pieces and spread it out on the cardboard.Your issue was with the hash still being way too wet for the cardboard...got it? I asked you guys if ya's had any questions...did ya not get that post? look at my tut ...check out the way I just said. Parchment paper will NOT draw out the moisture like cardboard does. You got any more questions?

That is a gummy that they made I believe. Rosin is usually tacky I believe so I do not think you would want to hold it in bare hands.

I always wondered why sometimes it stuck and sometimes it didnt thanks for that bit of info Duggs!

Yup. That's rosin. Rosin is very similar to RSO. The difference is the way the oil is collected. I believe RSO uses a solvent like alcohol to dissolve the oil, then they evaporate the solvent and what is left is oil. We used ice to separate it from the plant matter, and heat to melt it all together. So, yes, rosin van be "tacked" to the gums, taken orally via food, capsules, tuncture, taken really via suppositories. It's interchangeable with RSO.

Well, the last time we made bubble hash, we didn't use the 25m sheet, and it stuck. We seem to have misplaced the 25m sheet. Oops. This time we googled it, and parchment was another way to do it. It has worked well so far. Maybe we can get the 25m sheet ordered so we can use the cardboard method next time. We didn't deliberately ignore your help, we just knew we didn't have all the tools to get the job done right, and we had to adapt and overcome. I'm sure you know how doing things on the fly works. Lol!

We did some much needed transplanting today of the birds of paradise and the hula haze. These plants have been tortured and kept alive as mothers. Since they are not going to be moms, they got put into 20 gallon pots from their 5 gallon pots. Training will start tomorrow after they get settled in to their new pots.

Then we have 2 more transplants into 20 gals to document, the deep cheese and the dream machine. These ladies will be all by their lonesome inside of the 4x4. It's a good thing since I never thought a 4x4 would be considered small but with these pots, it's tight lol. These will be trained until you can't see the floor of the tent anymore. Hoping to hit 24 oz since that would be 1 gpw. Claims are said to be 2+ lbs for this light but I am assuming that is with a SOG or SCROG. May throw a net in there to hold then down initially. Who knows.

Makes the pots look even bigger with a 1 gallon hole in the center lol.

We got a PAR meter the other day so now the lights will be set using this. It'll be easier to document for future grows on what plants can handle what light intensity without stressing out. I think we have it set pretty good for now. :thumb:

ok...what happened to the little pc. of 25 that came with the bags?
 
what I do is put the blog of wet hash on that pc. of 25 over top of a bunch of paper towels....then fold it over on itself while pressing a bit...then take that chuck and cut it up really small on the cardboard...moving it around for the first couple hours ...next day dry.dry.dry.Works great..EVERY time C.
 
i hate how my phone puts down different words than what i type....ffs it is really starting to piss me off.

Yup. It is a sponsored grow and so far we are loving the light. It is easy to keep the environment dialed with it and it provides plenty of light for the ladies. Here in about a month the tent will be wall to wall canopy. Did some training on Sunday and they are putting together a nice shape to them. I'll take a few pictures tonight before the brix spraying. :thumb:
