Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Funny I by chance Googled Gorilla Glue yesterday and found a website!? I had no idea it was not just a strain name but a company name. They say their strains are indica based and bred to glue you to the couch :D only strain they have shared w the publoc so far is #4. Had some last year but didn't think it was thaaaaat flavorful. Yet a few friends told me it was one of the most flavorful strains they have tried and so I just got a gg#4 girl started in my journal. Going to see how she likes hibrix.

Still searching for the strongest tasting strains. Many people say gg4 has a very intense flavor. Would you put it up there w a super strong tasting strain? As in can still taste the flavor 4 or 5 hits into a bowl? I'm never gunna forgive the general public as soooo many people rave about the bluedream. So I gave her a try last year. Flavor is barely noticeable at all on the first puff and after that the rest of the bowl tastes like smoke not like the fruit you smell when you squeeze the nugz. Wouldn't be so butt hurt but when you can only grow 4 plants a year and one tastes like b grade it's depressing lol.

I know I asked ya'll last year but can you guys give me an update on best tasting NON auto strains? I asked a few weed snob friends of mine who are industrial scale and they threw around names like gas, mendobreath, mototbreath and animal cookies. Have you tried any of those?

Top of the day to ya SW...ya me too. It's all about the flavor. trying to find that one,...that one keeper. So far the nicest has been Doc Bud's Lemon Paki, then prolly my own Green Crack. But seem to be chasing these "Berry" strains ...after these three Double Berry's i'm gonna try three or four 'Blueberry Twist's from Gorilla...via Sherry...:thumb::thumb: They say her history is "Blueberry" , so not too much messin with the original.
Anyhow , gotta go check on my steak...lil Ribeye:)...w/ Greek salad, and a glass of whole milk:):circle-of-love:

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

The Gorilla glue that we grew was from fast buds and it is not the original. Ours is potent, at least we think so. One of our friends said it glued him to the couch lol. I plan to have the Gorilla glue #4 in our garden at some point. Just need to find a good place in the line up.

It's almost 40 here today but they are calling for 6"-8" of snow tonight. Damn. Hope all is good in your corner of the world.

Here try some of ours.

:passitleft:
Ya everything is great here in our corner. Just prepping. We're slated for blizzard like conditions Tuesday n Tuesday evening again here. Second decent storm of the season.

Now I don't feel like I tasted a very strong taste at all from the Gorilla Glue we just tried. Makes me think it wasn't actually GG at all. I'll know shortly like I said we just ordered some. Supposed to be for edibles but I'll definitely be growing some flower to smoke too.
It's really hard to tell up here if you're actually getting what they're saying it is.

Thanks Duggan.!. Funny you say that, my best friend was just talking about growing again after taking a decade hiatus. From what I gathered he got a bag of green crack and couldn't put it down until it was gone. He said it was the best flavor and strong. Best he could remember in a long time. Heard some other people talk down on it but now talking to you makes me want to track down the real deal green crack. Not really into sativas but don't mind making room for one in the grow. Thanks for the input.

On another note I drove to Washington last week and sampled some blueberry cheese. It was the first strain in the cheese line I ever smoked that I knew of. Crazy it tasted like bluecheese. I mean like a dang chicken wing exactly! We'll minus the chicken lol. Just hard to get excited about smoking cheese, and I love cheese. Kinda seemed like a novelty. Something you would buy one bag a year of but never would have a spot in the garden I don't believe. Maybe there is a better tasting cheese strain? Still find myself going towards berry stuff, skunk or fuel or anything but cheese really lol.

Last year I grew White Widow from Crop King and it was awesome. People couldn't get enough. Looking for more tastey stuff this year I am growing 6 different feminized strains Vision Seeds Chocoloco, Barney's Farm Tangerine Dream, G13 Labs Pineapple Express, Dutch Passion Seeds Blueberry, Greenhouse Seed Co. Arjan's Strawberry Haze, Elemental Seeds Honey Bananas and more Crop King White Widow. I am sure out of all of those I will find a good flavor that I am looking for.

I would trade for some of that cold air. It was 92 yesterday and is supposed to be 96 today. I am ordering a big box of crackers and some catsup to make soup, since my food budget is going into AC. I am trying to finish my flowering and get another crop done before the heat sets in for good, but it looks like it's a race I will lose.

Our temps aren't where yours are but I'm with you in that race against the summer heat.

And I'm with you guys..I tend to lean towards the fruity flavors rather than the earthy dominant ones. Not sayin those earthy tasting strains are bad but with limited garden space there are others I'd pick before.

That's not that uncommon. There are a lot of copies that other breeders put out. Either by trying to recreate the strain, or making f1s without a good selection of parental plants. There are a lot of companies trying to cash in on the cannabis industry explosion. Even if it is the original, how was it grown? Maybe I'm biased now that I've been growing my own in the kit, but street weed doesn't have much appeal to me, no matter what strain they say it is. I assume it's subpar until proven otherwise.

I have no idea how it was grown. But not for lack of asking. I almost always manage to slip in the question, usually met with a shrug, but sometimes they share that it's usually theirs or some family memebers outdoor stuff. Usually strain unknown or was committed to memory from some bag long ago, same as unknown to me. Not uncommon for that up here, either. Guaranteed that there is no breeder duplicating anything I have had from these parts. I think the majority of the people I have met here are in the call it what you want game. The stuff I come across is from swapping out our baked goods. Not Brix stuff though. Sure of that.

Harvest week is upon us!

This week we will be harvesting 1 or 2 plants a night. Tonight the strawberry cake and the royal creamatic auto came down.

Strawberry Cake

Day 64 in flower

The strawberry cake wasn't a looker at all. The mites had taken her prisoner and it was a daily fight just to get her to close to finishing. She was washed and rinsed twice. After shedding her fan leaves and trimming, she didn't turn out too bad. Not the weight I was hoping for but when battling the mites the last few weeks of flower, its hard to put on weight.

Royal Creamatic Auto

Day 63

This little auto packed on so weight and smells like fresh lilacs. This one didn't have any pests of any kind since she stayed in the veg room the entire time. She even took the time to turn a little purple on the leaves. This one was grown under the twilight GS1000 and I would have to say that it did a great job. She would have been bigger if we would have started her in her final 5 gallon pot. Tried to get a decent root ball in a 1 gal first but you can't do that with autos. Just trying something different I guess. :laughtwo: Onto the pictures!

Not much of a talker tonight as we tried some rosin from our bubble bomb. Has a really strong floral taste to it and is quite potent. It is fun watching the oil flow out of the bud onto the parchment. Here is some while being collected.

Will have more tomorrow to share as the tutankhamon is coming down. :passitleft:

Thanks neiko! I'm happy the flower room will be mostly empty. Then we will have more room for another strain or two in the grow. Any suggestions that we should try? I'll let ya know if we have it or something similar.

Are you looking for indica, sativa or hybrid?

I'm not really an indica guy but I really liked the snow moon from ACE.

For Sativas.....Dr. Grinspoon is always a favorite, if you can find it. Barney's Farm stopped selling it. Anything from ACE or Cannabiogen. Tikal is one of my favorites....(a clone could be had if you want one). Malawi is pure power and the warnings aren't marketing hype, if you aren't a pure sativa lover, don't bother with that one.....Canna probably wouldn't care for that one, it definitely does little to quiet the mind.

Most of my hybrids whether indica dom or not turn out to be sativa dom anyway but the 707 truthband from HSO is pure lemonhead tasting and has a great buzz.....I like this one a lot. This is my go to if someone hasn't tried HB weed. The taste is off the charts, this is the strain I would want Doc to try to measure my success with the kit.

I am super impressed with In House Genetics...they have a lot of frankenstrains. The purple sherb I just finished is grade AAA. I believe you are looking for a purple trichomed plant...this is one. Both phenotypes I had gave me purple trichomes. Both plants are really potent with nice terpene profiles. I will be keeping that around too.

Hope that helps!

We tend to run more hybrids or indica leaning hybrids for the sake of relaxing at night since we don't smoke during the day. But on the weekend I tend to smoke mostly sativas. While checking over the strains you mentioned makes me wish that I picked up some strains from ace. We don't have a single one. The 707 I almost purchased with our last order but went with the HSO black dog. I'll have to go through our seed stock and see what we have that compares to the ones you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to write that up, greatly appreciated.

Hey Nis, have ya ever had the 'old' Honey Oil...does your oil (rosin) taste like that?
The only oil that we have had is the stuff we extracted ourselves. Actually we had some gorilla glue #4 wax from a dispensary. It was quite delicious!
