Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Sorry to hear about the nanners, but thank you for posting the pics. I've got a plant I'm putting into bloom this weekend. She's 175 days old and has been through a multitude of stresses. I'm worried about nanners popping up on her and a couple others. Really helps to have a picture so I know what to look for. Of course I know what they look like, but never seen on bud before. +reps for sharing this.

Do not worry, it doesn't help at all and she sure will feel it and have nanners. Do not look for nanners look at your beautiful plant and admire her and thank her. That's what count. I'm sure she will be alright. Cheers and good luck! :Namaste:

Have a few pictures to share tonight. Just planned to take pictures of the autos but had to stop and take a couple more because...

NaNa NaNa NaNa NaNa Nanners!

nanner_CBD.jpg

This is on the CB Dutch Treat. Sh!t. Well she had a week to 10 days left anyways and I really don't want to pluck them off for the next week. So she got moved to the dark tent and will be chopped this weekend. No idea why she would want to nanner up on us. Temps are 72-79. Humidity 45% avg. Oh well, it happens. She is a frosty little thing though.

Then while we were down there a seedling popped up. It was the first thing I checked tonight and was walking out 30 mins later and there she was. Started another seed so I can have a couple fluxes going at once. Its a blast and keeps things tidy. Just a couple month veg time is all. But may I present to you a World of Seeds Pakistan Valley. Wanted to have as close to a landrace as possible.

Well a nanner is the male part that comes out of a female when stressed too much or can happen if it is strain related. Basically a last ditch effort to survive and pass on the genetics of itself. Hermaphodite. She/he just started to push those out as there were only a few on all of the buds. But with the all of the other plants in there we didn't want to risk pollinating any of the other plants. None of them were open so we found it just in time. But here is a close up of what we were looking at.

At harvest time I'll pull out the macro lens and put it on the camera so that you can see it in better detail.

Nanners Shmanners.....I'll bet there's not a single grain of pollen in there.

Why not pluck and pinch and see if you've got pollen? I get the occasional late bloom hermie....never with any pollen. I also get false seed pods on certain sativas...always hollow and empty. Check it.

But it does look very ripe for harvest too....
We will be harvesting her tomorrow. I'll be sure to get the tweezers out and see if shim is packing. That would be one hell of a great pollen to save of it did have it. It's our CBD plant. We decided to grow her months ago when I wasn't as healthy as I am now.

I'm glad you prompted us to check. Thanks Doc!

Hi Canna & Nis

New to the site but been reading for a while. Reading your journal ( and SweetSue's and…and… and… ) has encouraged me to finally get on board and become an active member (not lurking anymore!). I'm only on page 50 so still have some catching up to do but I will be back. Thanks for your encouraging

:thanks:

Welcome aboard! I was lurking around here about a year ago before I joined and I'm glad I did. Then a month or so later canna did since she wanted to see why I enjoyed this place. Well now we are hooked lol.

It takes some dedication to read through our entire journal but there is some great information that our great members here have dropped on us over the last few months.

I've started following your journal and you have a good start going. :thumb:

Congrats on the JOTM award Canna and Nis, well deserved with all your work and dedication. So what did you win for a prize? Hope it was good.:bravo:
What did we win? We won the satisfaction of knowing that we are appreciated here. There were no prizes associated with this that I know of. I'm totally fine with that. We are not here to win stuff. Recognition I can handle. We want to be able to go fully legit and go commercial. Don't want to sell out but we want to do something we love...and making a few bucks wouldn't be bad though. We have a plan....and hopefully it comes together.

So a pretty good prize then, eh? Surprise! Oh and I wish you good luck with going legal and making your hobby your job, man I wish it was legal everywhere, no more hiding and fear. Also, better prices and quality everywhere, gajilions of strains and hempy clothes that will last. What a beautiful image I'm gonna embrace it for a while. You have a G night here!

I know I'm brand new here but if I can give you kids (its oldnoob for a reason!) one piece of advice..
Do what you love.
If you can make a living at it, even better.

Hey Oldnoob, post number 8...not bad! I want to give you a proper welcome to our place here. We are all very proud of our membership around these parts and want to welcome you to our group! You sound as "old school " as me and most of us....you will fit right in nicely, i'm sure. Your attitude is one that we admire and like to see. Most of us around these HB threads are growing with Doc Bud's "kit" and having multiple , repeated success with it. I encourage you to visit some of our other threads to get a good "feel" for us and give us some of your experience , i'm sure you have to offer. As well, if you have any Q's. regarding grow methods or just general stuff, fire away OK. I always tell new members about entering our journals with a smile and good attitude as well as leaving an ego at the door , if it applies. Once again Oldnoob, welcome aboard brotha!:welcome::bravo::high-five:

Hey C and N , We have an addition to our group traveling!:cheer::thumb:
