Weeeeeennnnnnnn! How's it going man! Good to see ya. I'm slowly coming around. My stomach tends to hurt in the morning when I'm the most sober. So, a wake and bake does the trick for the abdominal pain and helps me to rest and even sleep more. I need all the rest I can get, but tonight was nice. Back to bed I go though. Don't want to push it too much. Talk to ya later man.

Top 3 for us: Pineapple chunk is a good smoke with a nice sweet flavor. Early Miss tastes amazing. A good pine/lemon/skunk/mint flavor she's so strong in taste. Shes my fave. A good cured Purple Kush is good. Also Dark Devil is quite flavorful with a sweet fuel taste. I know that's more than 3, but they are all good flavors.

I really want to try some of that pineapple chunk... I get some pineapple express once a year and it's fantastic. You make that early miss sound delicious to, nothing better than a tasty strain....

Morning duggs! We are just sitting here watching some morning tv, rolling some joints for the day, and of course having a wake and bake. It was nice to be able to sleep in rather than getting up at 4 am everyday...well 4:20 lol.

I do have a few pictures I didn't put up last night of our new cloner. It is a 36 site cloner so we did 3 strains for....why not? Took 3 off of the crown royale, 2 off of the carnival being 7 weeks into flower....why not try to get a reveg off of her right? It was a low flying branch that probably should have been taken during early stages of flower. Then for the 3rd choice we did a tiny branch of the pineapple express Auto. Now I know you can't clone an auto, but I want to see if it grows roots. I know it'll be the same age as the mother in its Cycle, but having new toys and plenty of prospects...don't tell me what I can and cannot do science! Hell...can you graft and Auto onto a photo or vice versa? Ummm...can you say ideas? :woohoo:

Hey Canna last year we got an auto from a friend. Now mind you when the guy said auto I had no idea what he was talking about. Ak47 auto.
I put her n tha dirt. Month later, she's makin flowers. So I say shoot I gotta get me a clone of this here.
I'd be remiss if I didn't add right here - I had never done a clone - but I had this book from like 4-20-1973.
I mention this only in passing because it was exacly as old as me.
Any how this old gardening book had a willow rooting recipe in it.
I followed it to a tee.
I took four clones. One from each strain we had.
Soaked one inch cuts of willow in natural spring water from our property 24 hours.
Didn't split the cuts. Just roughed up the first couple inches and plugged em n.
Watered with willow water for maybe ten days. Left an outside and never covered. End of May.
All four took.
That lil auto never missed a beat. Just kept on flowerin. She probably went way past because I kept waiting for her to get a lil taller. But to no avail.
At chop and quick dried she made a spiffy blunt.
Guess what ? She grew taller down below.
Had rooted like a champ.

Just checked on the cup of seeds and after 16 hours in the water there are about 18 that have sunk so far. In 2 hours they will be in a paper towel to hatch us a tap root. :thumb:
 
Hey Nis! Can you remind me where the back building tutorial is? I think it's time for my big plants but I am not sure if I am supposed to clip a little from each bud.....?
 
Thanks Nis! I read a couple pages and am still unsure if I am taking a bit off each bud, I've got a bunch of tops because of the ScrOG.

Am on day 44 so am past 1/2 way.

I would only do it on the main tops not the side branching unless there are some nodes stacked below it. That's what I do anyways.
 
Breeding room update


Just something quick today as we stripped down the breeding tent and cleaned every square inch of the tent and the closet it is in. We have the changed out the fan for the exhaust and it has kept the head down quite a bit.

Then since we put roughly 60 or so seeds into a moist paper towel today we thought it to be a good idea to get the pots ready. The pots that they will be going into are 4" pots and hold about 20 oz. of soil. We have 36 of them all setup ready to go. If half of the seeds pot tap roots, we will have enough setup ready to go. Then from there we hope to have half of them show their faces. Now if our odds are better or worse than that, it is what it is...we have more seeds. :thumb:

They will spend about a week or two in these little pots then up to one gallons. They will be on 18/6 so not to induce flowering. But hoping that some of them start to flower, that means we have some winners! STS solution for them at that point.

That's all I have for this evening as we were busy all day long. Canna sorted through all of the buds for the rest of the seeds. We have plenty of seeds of the PK x DDA, Carnival x DDA, and even some more DDA self pollinated seeds. Tough to get a count of all of them, but it is a couple hundred total. We stored a bunch of the DDA pollen and it is in a jar in the freezer with some rice in there to act as a desiccant. Everything else has been destroyed and we are pollen free for about 6 weeks.
