Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I can taste the onion in it, but it was simply a sample bud. The plant is ready to be weighed and jarred up, but the cable guy is here, and the new dogs old mom is coming over sometime to drop more of his things off. I'll get to it sometime today. Lol! It's no real rush to do it

You haven't been growing onions in your pots with your plants a la Sweet Sue, have you??? :tokin:

I'll try a pull of that Armpit Kush! :passitleft:

I need a lil info on SNS. Anyone have any experience or know anyone growin with SNS (links) lemme know. Please.

Phrum the light room.

What's the ???'s on SNS? My only experience is from what I've won as awards for some contests here. They are basically additives and not a full nute program (from what I won!) along with some bug and fungi sprays.

Re:

For the manifolding, are you referring to fluxing? If so then yes. The term for fluxing came about when LA really didn't care for the name "mainline" since it could refer to some harder drugs. It's been called many different names. But to answer your question yes, we have one going right now but soon to have another. :thumb:

As for the pruning we do that all of the time. My take on it is if the branch that is coming out of the main top is about 1" long we take the leaves. It can support itself so there isn't a need for it. If it isn't blocking any lower bud sites, I will generally leave it. If it's in the way and I can't tuck it...I take it.

:passitleft:

Thanks for the insights. I know when you speak of/search for fluxing it is about training the lateral branches on topped plant. I pretty like it, but it seems a bit slower, but that may be, because I cannot be with my plant every day and keep it all in check. I would go fluxing for sure If I had vertical limitations. I even want to top my future fruit trees and make them wide and ladder free. But by manifolding I meant making 3-5 toppings and even canopy consisting of many main colas with evenly branched stem. Optimal flow of nutes imo. Yes you can call that fluxing, but main cola focused one. Illustration:

Cheers! :thumb::Namaste:

Well then I guess I am doing that on our dark angel. Topped 3 times so far and canopy is flat. Just loving the way she looks thus far.

Ya mon,...most of us "bush" growers , got it all figured. You find that even two toppings with additional tieing down is all that's needed. All secondary branches grow to same size as the 4- 8 leaders already there (depending on what node and how soon ). It's all about the timing and available side branches . If ya wait a lil longer to top, you have a lil more to work with . It's so much fun .
I can't wait to get a look at Noob's flowers. They autta be sumpin about now eh! Cheers you guys...havin a Stella:surf:

Just curious if you have actually used any of this stuff Mr. Krip. I have been gifted the SNS prize package from a memeber here. A very well known and repected member here. More than one, it seems.
Thank you 420 community.
I currently use General Hydroponics nutes. Lucas formula. Promix medium.
Just curious of your experiences. My bad about just busting in with this guys.

Good morning everyone! I had pics of Ole stinky jarred up. She filled 2-1/2 gal jars. My phone decided to delete 9 pics, and 2 of them were the weights. Lol
One jar weighed 66g the other 51g.

Good Morning Canna. Hate it when our technology decides it wants to do it's own thing.
4 OZ is a nice pull :thumb:

It's Friday and it is time to get the day started :passitleft:

Part A is a veg additive and Part B is a flower additive. Once again, if you check the NPK ratings, you'll see these are additives and not a full nute line. When doing hydro and using the AN nutes, I didn't really notice a difference using their Parts A & B, although, they may have made some.

Luckily, I have not yet had to test their fungicide and miticide, but they are supposed to be effective and high-end.

They had also included some sample hummus and some fertilizer tabs.

All being said, SNS has been a great sponsor here for many years. They do provide a high value gift package. Sometimes it's difficult to attribute any good or bad plant growth to one specific cause.

I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use any of their products, but they should all be part of a complete nutrient regime, IMHO.

Ok friends, I have a question. Have you ever grown a plant out, harvest her, then smell her and wonder who's armpit she's been hanging out in??

Because we just wondered that ourselves! The Northern Lights Blue stinks! Like dehydrated onion. It's the weirdest smell I've ever smelled on a mj plant!

I have often wondered why, with an estimated 2,000+ strains extant, people will grow one that smells and/or tastes noxious more than once. Maybe they have a secret fetish for the odor, lol? Someone once offered me a cutting of a strain that he called "Cat P!ss." I said no thanks - and then told him that if he liked such things, he could come over and change my cat's litter regularly for free or not a lot of money ;) . He declined to take me up on my kind offer...

When you're looking for something specific, and in a specific section, you can do a site search.

Completed journals containing "SNS" are here:
Google

Ongoing (Current) journals containing "SNS" are here:
Google

Obviously, there will be some searches where the term is only mentioned in passing. But it ought to cut down the number of threads that you'll have to wade through. If you wish to search for one of SNS's specific products, just add to or modify the search term. And remember that you can add "site:" (sans quotation marks) to the beginning of any https: (etc.) address, then add your own search terms, and it will perform the search only on that website (assuming that it hasn't blocked Google's spiders). It can be a very helpful function from time to time, and you can perform more advanced searches than most forum/website search routines are able to handle.

BtW, Sierra Natural Science's tag-line(?) is "Natural & Organic Products for Garden & Farm." The message at the top of their main web page states:

Ya mon,...most of us "bush" growers , got it all figured. You find that even two toppings with additional tieing down is all that's needed.

If you get the primary growing tip so that it's the lowest part of the plant it'll redistribute auxins, and most strains will start producing secondary (et cetera) branches without the need for chopping parts off. It's a survival mechanism.

Hope your day deposits great things at all of your feet as is deserved

My cat just heaved out a hairball <SHAKES FIST>. (LOL)

Well, I would want to grow it again, just to see if that strain really smells like that, or if it was just the 1 plant. It's a good stone though. I can deal with a little onion taste for a good stone.

I wasn't necessarily referring to you or your plant. I was thinking more along the lines of animal urine/feces, high school locker room, decomposing corpse, and such. A smell of onion, by contrast, smells positively benign. Then again, I like onions (and might be a little unusual - I just drank half a glass of dill pickle juice for breakfast).

I used to have hash oil that smelled like a combination of fried pork sausage and fish. It wasn't too offensive. Not something I would have asked for, mind you - but definitely not bad enough to throw it away when you could warm it up, drop it on a bowl of ground bud (or pretty much anything, I suppose), and have over a dozen massively strong hits. Was a big hit at parties (just add a gravity bong(?) made out of a three-liter cola bottle, a bucket of hot water... and something soft to fall down onto, lol).

Good morning Canna , Nis , Jacob and friends. Jacob , the prize pack from SNS is quite a nice bundle of products and as mentioned they are a valued sponsor here on the Mag. I'm sure you will find the package useful in many ways. Cheers and everyone have an awesome Friday!:circle-of-love:

I have no problem with finding it useful. The ONLY problem I have with it is that it is not here yet.
Thank so much for everything Duggan.
