Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Hey CannaM. Quitting the ciggs is definitely tough. But the first three days will be the worst of it though. After that your body will readjust and you will develop new habits. Bong tokes and/or keify joints are good replacements imo. Hope you find what you're looking for. Stay healthy c:

You have quite the selection of plants going on currently. That's impressive. How long does it take you to water all your plants and how frequently do you water/feed? Saw Nismo's Dinafem cheese harvest post. That is one huge plant! You guys will be set for ages. Also stoked to see your NLB, OGK, and DDA harvest! Keep up the inspiring work. Top notch.

How's it going DB? I've made it 5 days and I find I'm craving get a cigarette less and less each day. I have found I have things that trigger me to want to smoke. What I do then, is go roll a joint and smoke it. That usually takes care of the urge for a cigarette.

When watering is done, usually one of us waters while the other does other chores in the gr. I'd say if it's just a water day, probably 30-45 min for one person. If it's a feeding day, it helps when we both do it together. It takes about 45 min now since Nis brought home a pump and Rubbermaid, so what we do is mix up a big batch for flower, and pump it to them in hoses. Then we do the same for veg. We alternate feeding, then watering, then feeding and so on. We water once a week and feed once a week.

I don't want to say too much about the dry weight of the cheese, but I'll say it's close to what we were originally shooting for. Nis will update on that in a bit. I will give a smoke report though. It is a smooth, skunky deliciousness! Top 3 for me in taste and stone. It's a well rounded strain. Now to keep out of it so it can cure. Lol!!

Thanks for the kind words, but more importantly, thanks for stopping by and asking questions. Have a great night bud!

Hey Canna, Great job on the 5 days! :thumb:
It does get easier, and you are definitely right about the triggers. Back when I did smoke cigs I tried cold turkey a couple times and was fairly successful at least for a couple months each time. I found the worse cravings were after a meal, when having a few adult beverages, and after certain activities.
I was a big fan of chewing gum (not nicotine gum) during those times. I found basically anything that could be used as an oral fixation worked.
I also carried cinnamon flavored toothpicks with me, and they were a good substitute for a cig after a meal.

Best of luck with it, plenty of us have been done that same road before you and succeeded.

Hello Canna , Nis and friends, what a great harvest eh. What does the DDA smell like C. When you switch over to the "kit" , how will you keep everything straight. With all your different strains and stuff. Just wonderin is all.
Canna Montana has gone almost 6 days without a cig,...yeepa , yeepa. Don't have one now ...your gettin it girl, you can do it. When you start to think like a non-smoker youle have beaten it, but ya can't cave, ya gotta stay strong , like you are!
Lots goin on eh guys...Canna , i know what ya mean about the contest pages... same , same!
have an awesome night Canna , Nis, and friends...:circle-of-love:
Oh , and i loved the toe , toes!:bravo:

Final Weigh-in and update!

Ladies and gentlemen I bring you tonight to the final weigh in of our Sparkle - Dinafem Cheese. She was very robust and gave us a very good yield. 3 month veg time and she gave us a total of 371 grams. By my math that is 13.25 ounces. Not a bad haul if I do say so myself. We have quite a bit of popcorn that we have drying which I would say we will be over 14 ounces. :yahoo: The light she was under was 450 watts so if my calculations are correct that's .82 grams per watt, as we currently sit. Now I know there is quite the discussion about LED and HID not having the same gpw calculations or reasoning or whatever. The light just paid for itself...5 times over! :bravo: Here she is in a 2 gallon jar. It is full to say the least.

We had a couple joints of her last night and it hit the spot. The buds have a slight violet color to them and is beautiful in the grinder. She does have a slight cheese smell to her and is a little pungent. The smoke is smooth and has a good aged cheese taste to it. The high is very relaxing but not a couch locker which is good. I could smoke it all day and be very happy. We are extremely happy that we got a good amount of a strain that we like. Great taste and a great high. Perfect.

Today we did some shuffling around. In the flower room the NLB and the OGK got moved into dark with the DDA. We then moved the two bubble bombs into flower. That was going to happen anyways but then we got to thinking. The girls are currently 5' tall including the pots. 8' ceilings with hanging lights and the gap between the tops and the lights...our height window is closing fast. So the Green love potion and the THC bomb were put in the flower room. Its a full house for a couple weeks.

So since all of the tall girls were out of the veg room that freed up both of the 600 watt lights. So the Dark Angel, Bubble bomb clone, and CB Dutch Treat were moved out and put under the MH. Since they are out in the open we did quite the training on them. Ahhhh back to small girls out here.

Then with the other light we changed out the bulb to a HPS and put the smaller flowering autos under it. So that opened up the area with the T5 so the flux and others have room to breathe.

Doing this will pack the flower room for a couple weeks but will also slow us down a bit. I'll be honest we had too many girls at random ages and we lost paying close attention to them on training and such. So now we can take a step back and prepare for the kit girls and for the upcoming autos. So everyone is now caught up on what is going on around here. I hope you all had a few smokes during that long winded update. Have a couple on us of that mighty fine cheese! Stay classy friends. :passitleft: :passitleft: :passitleft:

Thanks miller. We weighed one of the buds and it was 13 grams. Not too bad. But the SSH has a top that has been referred to as the size of a 2 liter bottle. Its more like a 1.5 liter bottle lol. Thanks for stopping by bud. :passitleft:

Yep, 3 month veg will yield monsters, but getting her through flower as well as you did shows real work.

You got it Miller, that's where the talent comes in. The tuff part is keeping them healthy for so long in a container, sometimes it gets a lil challenging. When you get to know the soil you are using and can get consistent results that's the "sweet spot" in growing...when you have it figured out and can start to tweak and modify , ever so slightly to watch for changes and behavior differences. Lottsa fun playing with Doc's gear....so easy to use and understand. Cheers miller and C & N.

Nice haul Nis and Canna!:goodjob: You've got one helluva set-up there.:thumb: I wish that I had some room inside. I'll have to work on that. :hmmmm::hmmm: Hey Nis! What brand of COB light is that? Are you happy with its performance? Thanks Bro!:thankyou:

That is the Amare SE 450+UVB. We picked it up when we needed another light just for the cheese. Well with being used to flower one plant and it did quite well all I could do I recommend it. It isn't noticeably hot in our GR and also has lenses for "high bay" applications. It is recommended 40" from the light to the tops with them on. It can be used in all stages of the grow with the switches. You can turn off the cobs and just use the monochromes and the UVB bulb. Then when they get a little bigger you can turn up the light and hit them with the COBs. The light retails for a little over $1,000 but with street value here, she gave us over $5,000 worth of produce. So its a win in my book :thumb:
