Poc, after 10+years on many narcotics I weened myself off. It wasn't easy. If your doctor will give you Valium it helped me. I spent many hours with severe anxiety and restlessness. Walking really helped too. Best of luck to you!

Using Cannabis To Reduce Or Replace Opiod Drugs
I keep tight lipped about my problem but everyone here gives great advice.
Wannab thanks for the advice. I am already on valium and a cocktail of other stuff for my epilepsy. I got addicted to opiates because of an accident that messed up neck and back. I was put on opiates for year and was never told about the addiction. Then he cut me off cuz I was feeling better. I didn't know what addition was until day 2. I thought it was the flu but it got so bad I called the doctor and he said it was withdrawal and to tough it out. 2 other docs gave me the cold shoulder and 800mg ibuprofen. Then 1 more doc helped out a lot. Funny part is the first doc is in prison for giving patients ridiculous amounts of whatever they want as long as they paid cash. He cut me off cuz he was under investigation.

I read this and freaked out.. you never 'cut off" you ALWAYS gradually dose down and off... I am sorry to hear about your pain.. but we are all here for you..

I didn't think you were blabbering. You were venting which is totally appropriate for what you are going through. Please feel free to talk about it with us. Maybe one of us can come up with a way to help. We wouldn't be able to help if you didn't tell us about it. It had to be difficult to own your addiction, and even more difficult to talk about it. It's messed up that a dr would just stop you cold turkey. I had withdrawal from a depression med years ago. That was no joke!!

Mornin' everyone! Pocadon, ain't no shame in becoming addicted man. It can happen to any one of us. My wife has been on heavy opiates for several years now and we know the results. That's why I'm so interested in med. cannabis. Hopefully when my crop comes in I can reduce or eliminate those poisons. Yes, they have a place but there are better things out there. Hang in there Brother. You're in great hands here and these folks will give you all the help and support that you need to heal.

Good morning Heir. We will have quite the amount of pictures to put up today and three updates. Yes three. Breeding will be the last stop of the day. We don't go in there until just before lights out and do everything then. We have stopped spraying the CS since it has looked like a couple sacs have opened. So stay tuned bud.

Fluxing update
Good morning everyone! This morning I did a little much needed work on the flux. She is a CKS Crown Royale born on May 1st and is 105 days from seed. She will be here for a couple more weeks since the middle needs to catch up and ill have to steadily tighten up the work I did to her today.
Here are some before shots.
She pulled her stakes out of the soil.
Then here she is after I tied some strings to her and have pulled them down to as level as I could without feeling like I was about to snap something. In a couple days I'll tighten them up. Also did a little pruning to get more light to the center and took a little off of the bottom. A little pinching on a few of them to slow some of the fast ones down as well.
All tucked back in with the others.
Well since I have ya here I might as well share our sad Afghani reg story. She is 2 months old from seed and has the flattest most even canopy without any training and she is a male. We have been searching everyday for preflowers and were hoping for pistils. Well today I put the macro lens on the camera to see if we could see anything. Well I think we have a dude. But the entire thinking of this plant was to do grafting on her. I'll have to go read through Light Addict's thread since I think he used a male for grafting. Need to see how that worked out.
Then I can't leave without posting a picture of this cheese. I know you must be getting tired of her but it puts a smile on my face when I walk in there. I'll have to find something comparable to size it properly. Those buds are about 3 lighters wide and 2 or 3 tall. Maybe a soda bottle or something. They are about 50/50 clear to cloudy right now.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Its a beautiful day and I think the boy and I will go play some baseball while the girls go to a botanical center. We will be back later with more pictures and such. Stay classy friends.
