And well this thread took a turn, what a horror story. Those pick are just yuck all that must have been quite a toxic fire.

Good morning @Fenderbender hope you are well today my friend.
It was a pretty bad experience but we are all safe, thankfully.
I thought it cant hurt "stay safe"
I figured if enough members saw it every day it just might stick in their minds.
Hopefully influence some better decision making than mine.
Smoke detectors and a big fire extinguisher, new mandatory equipment in every grow.
I don't want this happening to anyone else!!

hmm maybe hanging one of those fire extinguisher balls up in the roof of the tent could be a first safety step, for larger rooms there's automatic cans, as what if it happens when one is not around to be warned by the detector and operate the fire extinguisher.

probably be a good thing for all to do. You can buy and "All Purpose Fire Extinglisher" for under a 20 dollar bill. I know in my house because I do have one in the Kitchen and it counted on my Fire Insurance.

here's one of several oh shit adventures

this was my first HID light. bought in 1994. it is, a 400w MH on one side and 400 HPS on the other. you will notice that the right side isn't lit up. sometime ago it had melted. i didn't notice it. no idea when it happened. thank you lord for keeping my dumb ass out of the flames.

i also plugged a 1000w HPS into a regular outlet. one day i touched the plastic and it was VERY hot. hothothothot. so i ran a line to the heavy duty washer/drying outlet. hot hot hot. yikes.


lazy and stoned is no way to go though life. unles you dig it.
