yeah, maybe try some cal-mag, but IMO your ph is too low for soil, so right now adding more might not even help if it's locked out.

you should try to be 6.2-6.5 in soil, that's prob why your mag is getting locked out. . . have you checked your runoff pH?
 
no i will the next time i water. i just watered the other day.

ive been reading my medical marijuana grow bible. and i think its mg def and sulfur def mixed. beacuse of the purple stems, and the way they are yellowing.

The issue is with using tap water. Thats the first thing that would cause the lockout. with the chlorine in the tap water as well as other chemicals/fertilizers that are already in it along with the cal/mag can cause the lockout. Thats the downside to using tapwater. Thats the very reason why Gen hydro makes a hardwater nute program.just a thought. You could talk to your local hydro guy about your issue with your "tomatoes". He'll have a good idea of how to fix it, or at least they should thats what their there for.Or shoot a message to Andy Botwin he's a great source of info.

you might be right, however i still hold 5.5 is a bit acidic for soil. . . i'd want a full point higher. and magnesium has a pretty high pH lockout range.
 
well i grabbed some epsom salt. 2 tsp/ gal. only used once so far. i think i might try and flush, and see where i end up.

next grow i think im gonna add dolomite lime to the soil.
i also think im gonna get some cal-mag.

i thought i was gonnz be moving, but idk whats up now.

i will have a minimum of 5 femmed GWSseeds. hopefully a few more. also i will most likely be able to get clones from whatever strain my buddy has running. as we have like around 16 strains coming.

i intend on have a staggard SoG setup. if i dont move im probably gonna buy a tent for flowering. well see what happens. i want to eventually have a similar setup to McBudz. i want to have a 8'x4' tent. crop esch side/ month.
 
yeah McBudz gets around a pound of each side. he want to get 1.5 lbs. and is tweaking his system to do so.

i dont plan on matching his skill. but would like to do something similar. except i want 2 8 weeks flower strains, so i can crop a different strain each month also.
 
Weedy, ya ever tried autoflowers?. ~9 weeks from seed to weed. Not huge harvest, but you can fit more of them in a smaller space. Also, at the very least you might get a Pure unit, removes alot of the impurities from the water, then just adjust the PH from there.
 
Smart man on the call. Soil allows for mistakes to be made and rectified. If you ever get a chance you should get a brixmeter. It will help with telling you whats going on with your plants, prior to them even showing signs of it. Think of it as an x-ray for your plants. Its what the vieyards use to determine the quality, health and ripeness of their crops. Just a suggestion for the future. Do some research on them. They are well worth the money. Most people dont use them but trust me it helps out alot.

did a flush today. im gonna probably just flush for around 10-14 days. i know its a long flush but its almost done anyways. and i think my soil became to toxic. so i dont want to renute. now my question is should i use molassas if im using clearex?

i flushed all pots. but will go back to nutrients on the square pot and the purple haze. both of which are 50% or more red hairs. couldnt get a good look at trichs. ill have to do that another time. but i want to give them at least 3 more weeks before the final flush on those.

the purple haze hasnt seemed to have gotten any bigger or thicker lately, so idk. any ideas?

the square pot is damn close to 60-75% red hairs. but seems like the buds should have alot more thickening to do. i guess im just tonna try and keep on it and see what happens.
 
clearex will flush it completely including any micro and macro organisms. Your best bet if your adamant about using the molassas is to just use it with the h2o on the first week then the last week use the clearex with the h2o. This will help get you through the flushing period nice and clean with the same results.
 
thanks everyone. sorry for the lack of updates. ive been around, just havent had a good camera, or the thing to transfer from my memory card. but ive been flushing the round pot for 11 days. 1 more flush, then let it dry out a little before harvest. the p haze and square pot are mostly red hairs, but still plumping out. so im giving them nutes for at least 2 or 3 more weeks before the final flush.

hopefully ill have some pics soon.

oh i got my seeds now. i have 5 fem GWS, 2 fem AMS, 2 fem Church, and 1 fem Big Bang.
i also have the availability of getting clones in the future of,

Thanks butcher. Good info. I wondered about that one myself. What I was wondering was how does clearex flush out micro organisms? I read a member in the forums say that clearex was pretty much useless and didn't amout to much more than sugar water. Any input on this butcher?
Just caught back up Weedy. Lookin forward to harvest. Keep it up!
