Geez we getting advanced now subcool... How to crack a seed :rofl:

Uh-oh, any of the newbies watching us?

Weasel, I love the way you think mate ...such a straight talker...always entertaining Love It !:Namaste:
He is definitely a man who says what he means, and means what he says. :) My kinda guy. In a manly kind of way of course. Lol!
"...still shakin it boss.....still shakin it...."

Thanks ;) (pounds chest in manly embarrassment)

heesh i sure would like to grow big plants like yours weaseley,, that Ethiopian looks just like an Ethiopian does in my mind,, tall and slim,, what a groovy as heck plant ya gots there my friend

just a mention of the golden tiger i am growing,, easily the longest,, and i say longest,, not 'tallest' because i have had to lay it across my flower area because of its length/height.

i am finding a real demand for the pain cream i am making. sheesh,, every single soul i have given some to has returned with the most glowing of reports. this stuff works on so darn many issues,, including skin issues

i am still trying to work out how to price the cream,, for friends,, as i cant keep giving it away

I’m sort of disappointed with my last batch of cream. I think I’ll just try making it like the recipe next time instead of constantly trying to make it even more betterer than the recipe.

Re the Ethiopian- thanks. I agree- it’s sure got a classic look. If it was in someone else’s grow I’d be thinking - ‘that’s cool looking- but better you than me mate’. I’m not so sure that I can grow big plants like me either- that remains to be seen. That GTx3 in particular is being a bit of a Pita considering it hasn’t even sexed and is pretty much at maximum height already. But yeah it’s fun to see them there looking so tall and all.
Is yours flowering yet?
I ordered more GT seeds in the hopes of finding the holy grail of smokes in case these GT crosses don’t fit the bill.

~CM3~

I managed to find another tomato cage and plunked it on her. Like the rest of the left side plants she’s having a bad hair day, but the cage has helped a lot. At least her flowers are up in the sunlight a bit now. As expected the older variegated leaves have frizzled up quite a bit.
Surprisingly, the bleached bud is very sticky and smelly and is pretty much just bud. I expected it to be dry and somewhat trichome-less. I meant to take a microscope to her to see what the trichomes look like and if they’re somehow albino as well. But forgot...

The left side. A bit of a train wreck.

The CM3 clones are carrying on the tradition of variegation.

I did take some cuttings of her that were completely green. I wanted to see if they would turn out to be variegated as well. I think my beloved must have tossed them out and just taken the two that rooted first. I do recall telling her something about only needing two clones of each strain... Oh well- next time.

Ever thought about growing mango haze.. the ibl would be something you might like to look into...

It’s crossed my mind in the past. Never grown any sort of haze or mango. It does sound a bit too indica-ish for me though. I’ve been smoking a fair amount of Peyote purple the last week and it’s a nice high, but I do really notice that munchies/overindulgence/hangover rut that the indica stuff gets me into to.

A post (from another forum) about mango haze, that I like

what an amazing sight your plants are.

and of all plants, the mango haze!!!

was just with Shanti a few days ago smoking some cbd mango haze, and he told me a cool story.

During his time in Switzerland making essential oils from cannabis, when he presented Mango Haze for terpeneoid analysis, the chemists at the lab came back to him with utter suprise, saying they had never ever seen such a full and varied terpenoid profile in a cannabis strain. They told Shanti that the Mango Haze terpene profile was complete enough to sell it as a perfume, unheard of with any other plant they came across. This from his parental stock of Mango Haze, which tests at 22%thc with no cbd.

so yes, when shanti tells you its his favorite plant and smoke, well after growing it and smoking it oneself, its easy to understand why he thinks this....

Mango haze, send you running too the moon...

Im growing doors at moment, just won't be doing what Shanti says (throw anything away that goes longer than 16weeks) and i'll select for 14 plus weeks, lol...

I was rummaging in search of a bottle of wine since the other one seems to have- oh yeah I remember what happened to it now... and I found my collection of bud wine. So thought- wtf :) I’ve sampled this a couple times and each time it was very good, in a strange way. But now it’s actually starting to reach a good cure. Cured wine- I like that concept.
Yum! I can’t believe it tastes so good. Wow- this stuff is going to be delicious. It has this crazy tart lemony taste and an amazing astringent fizz on the tongue. A really strong flavour, but actually good - unique and delicious and is only going to get better.
When did I make this stuff? I’ll have to dig back in the journal and look. Are we allowed to send wine cross-border? Unlikely, but if so I know what you guys are getting for Christmas.

Back to the fire... :passitleft:

Damn....
While Tead sure enjoys the local menu... options like that seldom appear.
Of course, I wanna know if you made a good drizzle from some veggies by simmering a touch of canna wine in the pan.
The garlic has to get some luv too... little garlic chunks grilled up in the goo.... delicious!
What went into the vino? Not just the canna, but the whole mix.

The wine is just basically herb, yeast and sugar. It was mostly just a bunch of trashed buds leftover from making bubble hash. Seemed like I didn’t get as much hash out if it as I wanted and must have figured there was goodness left in it. I may have added some regular un-thrashed bud as well- I’d have to dig back and look at what I wrote at the time.

I’m glad I didn’t add anything else for flavour. If I did I’d be wondering what exactly accounts for the crazy taste of this stuff. I’m really impressed. Thought it would taste like crap.
The colour is mostly from that blackish blue CMOG plant, and I think most of the taste is from the P Chunk and the CMOG. No doubt there were other odds and ends in there from the hash trimmings pile. But PC tends to dominate and CMOG is another strong dank one.
I can imagine a whole world of different flavours I could get using different less dank strains. And/or maybe with less weed in the mix.
The flavour was a little too strong to go with dinner last night because it overwhelms the palate. It’s actually quite shocking and makes a person go ‘wow’ every time you have a drink - both cause of its strange intense flavour, but also because it’s surprisingly good. Might go better with desert, like some sort of ice cream dish, or just on its own. It’s very rich and could suit making something with more alcohol, like a very strong dessert wine or port. Next time I would use less weed or maybe a lighter flavoured strain.
The high is fairly mild. Definitely there but a step or two behind the alcohol in strength, and to be honest I’ve been pretty well blazed (that autocorrected to ‘glazed’ and I almost left it) every one I’ve tried this wine. But definitely a happy glow. I felt pretty much transfixed in a bubble playing guitar by the fire- but what else is new... stayed up till 5 am.

A cannabis port... That sounds good...

I’ve never made port before. Sounds interesting. I’m definitely going to be watching for nice flavoured buds to make more wine from. We drank another bottle tonight, and it was still good. :thumb:

I was out on the mighty ocean for most of a week on an exploration trip, which was very fun, and I have been busy dealing with fish and whatnot since I got back. The hunting and gathering season is a really busy time here for me. One thing comes ready after another very quickly, snooze and you lose, and summer is very short. Fish, all sorts of plants and fruit and berries, deer to hunt, and of course the ever needy veggie garden. Processing it all is endless work. I can see why them there those supermarkets were invented, to avoid this annoying work problem.

Finally managed to get the last of the salmon dealt with today and safe in the freezer- just as my stomach was threatening to pop too. :)
Accidentally labelled it CM3. No - not chocolate mint, it’s candied salmon.;)

I set up some 1/4” lines and a pump on a timer to hopefully water the plants while I was away. For once I managed to not screw something up and this system actually worked out for me. Finally!

The sativas grew up into and past the lights again. Especially the larger GTx, which finally sexed as a girl while I was away. Not sure what I’m going to do with it since she’s already a lot too tall. I’m just ignoring her for now I guess.

Chocolate Mint 3 is starting to show some nice colour. The variegated leaves continue to die back, but the actually variegated bud looks good still. I wonder if those ones will make beautiful buds when dried and I maybe get to stick one in the ol contest, or if they’ll just look drab and weird.
