P1170402.JPG

this my project of the moment,, only time will tell how far it goes,, have spent the last weeek looking for the right colour green,, mixing like a mixing fool

but i think i got it,,, whatcha think??? does that look cannabis colour to you,,

the painting just starting,, i think i like it,, course, i can see thru what is there now

just lovin this light weaseley,, plants too,, i feel i can actually see them grow,, and healthy like i have never seen before.

sure shows what i have been missing all this time

P1170403.JPG

that as much as i can get in the frame,, so tight up there,,but

front center, a lemon skunk who has only known this flower light,, just diggin the hell outa it,, right side a mack-x a mama thai cross,, biggest leaves six inches long stretched out straighter than a ruler,, beautiful,, back center an ace mix,, a seed gifted long ago by a good fella,, finally tried it and took forever to sex itself,, throwing out these tiny little male looking branchy things for ever to fool me,, then, one day,, way past i swore it was male,, but kept it anyway cuz i just was not positive and wanted positive

ace mix,, beautiful little colas all pointy and perty,, and barely in the frame left a blueberry,, half way thru and after near two weeks under this light just a givin off an aroma oh so nice,, when stroked

also helps that i got my ph issue under control,, the leaves were showing it real bad,, not now

back the canvas friend,,

that hash is so white,, yucatan sand white,, beautiful

Have you noticed? The old ones won't tell us what it's like to tick off those last years
.
Yeh I used to always quiz my grandma but she wouldn’t let on. She was fond of saying ‘get old my dear, but stay young’ ... getting up out her chair to lean on her cane with a groan.

"This too shall pass"

It’s a really useful insight because it seems to me that our human nature isn’t very good at seeing what’s not under our noses at the time. As soon as we are hot we forget what it was like to ever be cold. We’re creatures of the moment. Makes for great adaptability but not necessarily good wisdom or empathy.

i have been in my studio, painting and just diggin the music from this public funded edmonton university based radio station,,

ckua

I know a lady who runs a music show on (I think) that station. Or used to. Named Lark. Someone told it’s a good show and she’s sort of famous.

have views on life and death that most folks don't appreciate. I see us all as no different from the plants we grow. Biological beings without any hint of any magic.

Yeah I totally agree as far as I presume to understand what you mean. We are critters. But that’s where the magic is, imo.

yep,, lark clark,,

Yeah that’s Lark. Nice lady.

I never actually meant to post that last post I was just trying to compile things so I can do the journal housekeeping and reply to some stuff here. But accidentally hit post on a handful of quotes so had to go back and quickly fill in the blanks.
Will do that housekeeping soon.

But since you’re around Nivek - an idea. Music files can be sent back and forth or so I’ve heard. I’ve got a few instruments, a couple half decent mic’s, a mic interface for my phone (Apogee One), and various music and recording apps. Can’t make any masterpieces but might be fun to play around. Maybe I’ll pm you or something sometime and see what you’re cooking up?

I was talking to dad on the phone, he let out a groan and said "I'm getting old mate" he then laughed and said "and so are you"

Swinging through to wish a happy belated new year! Hope your eye gets all sorted out for you! Love that hash method... I effin hate bubble bags with a passion... haven’t touched them in 5-6years.... so thanks for sharing!

And even though I’m just a young buck, turned 30 on the 31st, I appreciate the insights of older folks. My grandma unexpectedly passed just before December, she always told me not to sweat the small things and live my life, cause what matters now, won’t matter in 5years. And as the years are ticking by i am starting to understand what she meant.

Oh! Nivek, that painting is sweet! Well done! If ya’ll need any percussion or horn, let me know! I love jammin! Need to make some more time in my life for it!

Cheers all!
