Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restrained

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Wow, I got here and only had to read a couple of posts??????? Usually, within a couple of hours I have to go back 5 or 6 pages just to catch up. Well, I hope all is well Trichster & I'll :surf: by a little later!

Re: 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Muxy

There ya go! Leave it on until the air warms up a few degrees in the morning. Just make sure you remove it before the sun is up at 10am or you will have a cooking episode on your journal!

I wasn't ruffled, silly. That's my sense of humor. Wanna know what my real nickname was in Brooklyn? It was Vito. I've also been called, Bimbo, Bluto, Dumbo. I had quite a bunch of friends. You should hear some of THEIR names. "Fatter than Me, C word, etc. You get the drift. We were an inseparable dozen or so people who did everything together.

Good morning.

:green_heart:

Thanks for the wake up smile you just gave me GF! :thumb: Ruffling feathers is fun teasing,

like showing Light Addict pipe cleaners for flux wire, lol!!

gotta go chk on the family

Whiteflies

Today we have way to many WHITEFLIES!! I will be reading up on them next. GardenFaerie help will be sought!!

None in the Fluxy tent, a small swarm in the garden around Muxy, I treated with SNS 203 & 209 organic treatment. again!

Any shared tips on eradication appreciated!!:thanks:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Citronella candles, not lit necessarily, just around the Mux?

I got it. You need a large chair, a large J, as many children as you think you need, and as many butterfly nets as there are children, and a candy bar (I even know the correct American terminology!).
Now it's a game. You need to present said candy bar, all bright and shiny and delicious to the small children. The child who net's the most white flies, get's the candy bar. Sit back, light the J and watch the ensuing chaos.

I guarentee there will be little insect life left uncaught by the time you finish the J. :)

Thanks Trichster, they are great, it's already been handled!

Good Night Bro! :peace:

Glad to hear it SABO, sometimes we want to track the culprit down and release vengeance. NG

You did the right thing, letting 420 admin handle it. I hope PJ kept his cool, like you!! lol . :goodjob:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I guess it's hard for me to tell from the pictures. But it's another reason I love container growing, so I can have more control on what the plant is feeding on and growing off, sometimes its hard to tell what the soil is like that far down, or if there is a big root from another tree or plants that run into the roots of the plant. Also I use 10-3-1 Dr. Earth Bat guano for veg and have great results with it, it is my favorite go to veg fertilizer that works like magic on all the plants, turns the lettuce extra green in just a couple days.

Now with that plant all bundled up, she has no air flow, I am not so sure that is better than the 60 degree night time temperatures, I mean that is not really that cold. There may be more than meets the eye with this little one.... will have to see how she progresses... :goodluck:

Thanks Lester, can you explain why it's one thing after another in this sport? lol Remember the whiteflies we talked about (your hibiscus horror story)

Well, today they are joining together, there is an orgy going somewhere, I've been reading up on treating with the SNS 209 & 203. There is a small SWARM today, the worst I've seen. Thanks alot for more information.

Strange that I've never seen whiteflies until this year, I'm thinking bat shit & molasses (2014 is 1st yr I used some) is a whitefly favorite? more later

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

First thing anyone must do is identify the insect. Are you sure you have whiteflies? They are very, very, very small. Almost dust like and are found on the undersides of the leaves and they move extremely fast. If that is what you have, treat with whatever you have which is labeled for use on food and certified organic. If it is not, you will be smoking whatever you put on that plant. No amount of washing will get all pesticide residue off.

So, are you positive you have whiteflies? That's where to start.

In my experience with gardening ornamental plants I found that liquid seaweed foliar sprays deter whiteflies. They don't like it for some reason, but this is something which needs to be applied once a week in vegetation. It does not disrupt ornamental flowers, but cannabis flowers are the fruit of the plant, so I don't know about once in flower. I do know, however, if you do use this foliar spray weekly while in vegetative state you will make the outer layer of protection to the foliage better, organisms do not like the seaweed.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Uh, what other music is there? The music being pumped out now is such garbage I can hardly believe anyone is a musician any more! We watched the Grammy's this year for the first time in maybe ten years and we knew hardly anyone. I don't find hip hop to be able to carry an entire generation of music, but I do love hip hop and blast it in my car. But I remember growing up, going to concerts, being so excited when Led Zeppelin ll came out or when The Stones released Sticky Fingers with the real zipper on the album cover. Music was chunky, you could see it back then. It had energy and moved around in a spiral, particularly if you dropped some orange sunshine. Jam bands weren't called jam bands, they were called The Grateful Dead. Remember? I do.

orange barrel, purple microdot, window pane......just what I heard....:circle-of-love:

THANKS B.REAL!!:high-five: that's a good tip! proof not everything is on Google, I would have find some PH up, before using lemon water, I have never had to raise PH, one chemical I don't have in stock. Thanks for coming in like you always do, with good stuff:thumb:

now what about the lemon water PH? I'm not trying to belittle your appreciated share, I thought I read something about lemon juice being used to lower high PH water.

you don't need to ph the lemon water. get a real lemon and squeeze or even cheese grate half a lemon into a jug of water. taste the water. if it doesn't shock you too bad, it'll be fine for your girl. I thought I already suggested this but it must have gotten lost in the interweb. lemon acts just like humic acid, it helps move things along in your plant. one of my buddies on here, his plants were dead for weeks. no growth whatsoever. I suggested flushing with lemon water and he got new growth within days.

You can check out Dirt Doctor Howard Garrett Organic Gardening, Home, Health, Pet Care, Pest Control, Compost, Nutrition, Environment I personally know Howard, but I'm pissed at him...still he knows organics.

:thanks: GF, I try to know my local critters! here they are from an old post of mine, you are a fantastic help!!:cheertwo:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I would spray the leaves, undersides too, with a light solution of SNS 203 at sunset, I also spray the topsoil to repel/kill the fungus gnats/larvae (only if there is a problem). Great product really SNS 203 Soil Drench Spray | Sierra Natural Science

Remember about SNS-209 is that it is ment to be used systemically, so it takes weeks for the rosemeric acid to build up in the plant - that is more ideal for plants growing for 6 months, or over the whole summer. I have had more success with pest removal with SNS-203 than I have had with SNS-209. SNS 209 Systemic Insect Control | Sierra Natural Science

Also, I would would be much more hesitant to spray a flowering plant (ocean proximity), so I'd just do manual inspections on them. They're much more useful to me in veg, also GF is right about the seakelp. The stuff works like magic during veg, keeps them nice and healthy :)
