lb has a good point there, at least for some. It's a very thoughtful idea. However, I'm afraid if other MwNYs are as scattered and low energy as me it would start well but then fade away. Having a place to discuss what I'm learning and show off the results sounds great, but an ongoing thread takes a continuity I generally lack.

I'm really fine without a journal - eventually I hope to put together some blog posts - sort of photo-bios of particular plants. A summary of what I did, how they did, and what I learned. It would be good if a little of your energy rubbed off on me!

So I guess I'm satisfied with the way things are now. Thanks for wanting all to have the fun of a yard - I do appreciate it. And I do expect to continue posting in your Off-Topic, including some On-Topic stuff.

not sure what u r refferring to :hmmm: i'm usually expecting a member to laugh or comment,

BAR laughed, and u have me back in the tall grass, lol. wait! , .° , it just came to me, I was expecting temps above 50°,

March is usually never below that, now it a temp toleration verification, i'll do it again next March.

I jammed a solderring iron in the soil to heat her up, the roots liked it, but the tops could have used the hotplate nearby.

when do you reveal your next "secret" mentioned over in your yard? how long will we have to wait & pace?

I like the cleanliness in there, too. good work budder, reminds me of BB's spotless yard,

just not when he grows outside in the snug infested backyard of his, that was ugly, snails and slugs,

making snugs, while eating his poor girl.

Thanks Spimp. Yes trich I try to keep the lady's yard as clean and sterile as possible because just like you have to deal with moths, snails and the like, PM, Gnats, white flies and apt dwelling critters ain't fun to eradicate once you let them in. My theory is, they don't pay no rent, they can't move in. LOL

the horror!

Todays Fluxy Lady inspection revealed another daed leaf, beneath, was dead bud, under that,

a very plump caterpillar :rip:. Here is what he did, the bud was cut away and the area is now sanitized,

the hole will be sealed w/ non-toxic glue, can you say HORROR!
