Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restrained

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

no problem daT, as long as we keep it on topic, any of your shares like that are welcomed & encouraged here. I saw the word "spray" in the

title, sprays are great during veg and early flower, buth this late, any sprays could leave residual moisture,

leading to the potential for mold. Lester said that it's not too late to use BT-dust, but it is hard to be sure the critters eat the dust.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I didn't know that about the zappers, thanks
Am very excited to learn from you guys, and really surprised moths / caterpillars are such a huge threat to the cannabis plant.
I was not aware of this before, and I am happy I learned this early on, and made the correct decision of netting my balcony windows. Oh speaking of nets, try a different net maybe with smaller holes, perhaps you can find a inventive way to anchor to the wall there.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

The reason I don't use moth zappers is because I live in a highly suburban area with neighbors only feet away.

Surely the sound of a very loud zapper would attract a lot of attention, I looked into the lowest power zapper that would do the job and it is still really loud at night. There is also fire hazard potentials. It needs to be at least 25 feet away from the house connected with an extension cord, so I just said forget it.

yes, that too, curious undesirables must be kept out of all yards. Reminds me of my youth, I remember when a neighbor in RI

got a big bug zapper, a big bug would have me running through yards, to investigate, I'd watch, then I'd throw a handful of green grass

into the Zapper & run to the nearest bush, to watch and hear it sizzle n smoke, lol :thankyou: Lester

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

but when the plants start to flower, get sticky & stink,

the moths find canna, second to none, as Robert Palmer says, it's simply irresistable.
It does the same thing to us pot-heads.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

thanks skunny , birds, huh, I wonder why? I just got the package out, they are also called Hippodamia Convergens:peace:

I have no idea who decided they were birds when they are flying beetles (aka Coccinellidae) I don't even know why they are all called ladies, imagine how the male ones feel being called a ladybird. Hippodamia Convergen is a bit of a mouthful though so lets stick to ladybird/ladybug, it's much easier :)

the net is for a king-size bed, I will find a better way, to spread it around the plant, w/ out touching it.

BAR, does Mr Squiryl or the Greaser, help you name your girls? just curious because

they remind me of the first time I,

:Namaste: No man is shrouded in more mystery, than thou, S. I'm tossing your tack, all that I see, is a faint shifting presence,

constantly flashing & pinging through the "cloud", every ping that I grab at, is an illusion. You were right from the start.

I wish I remembered how you put it, not in the mood to re-post that classic one-liner, RE, the tack!

Have a great weekend Spimpster:420:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Just know the ladybugs likely won't do much about the caterpillars. They would have to find them when they were extremely extremely small pupae. I don't think they would even go for eggs. They prefer living, moving, small, soft bodied creatures. Assuredly they would stand no chance against such big caterpillars you recently posted.

Caterpillars from moths and butterflies are the #1 outdoor pest threat, and unfortunately the most straightforward solution is going out there with my ice-pick and looking around. Makes it harder if you have a Rooster sized plant, just need a ladder lol.

Trichomes, post that pic of Rooster on the ladder lol
