Just remembered some of the things I wanted to comment on.

I couldn't work out why GF should apologise? I don't think anybody that asks for a bit of proof or evidence to back up a statement is in the wrong.
Growing is a science and when you tell somebody from a scientific background (like myself) its very hard for them to take in info without having the basic facts.

One thing I learned from 420 is there are kabillions of ways to go about cultivating Cannabis , there is bound to be some head butting here and there so what I attempt myself personally is to accept peoples comments as constructive criticism. In some of my own threads I have had blunt one sided opinionated comments that basically slap me inthe face but I consider those comments to be rainfall and I am wearing a excellent rain jacket and hip waders lol I absorb what I need to learn too and a lot of those blunt comments have allowed me to grow as a cultivator.

Transplanted my 2 baby girls today and posting them for you to enjoy some serenity

So, tell me about these little beauties! Are they both OG? What tortures do you have in store for them?? Flux? Double Flux? Super Crop? Fim? Sog? Scrog? A little LST? Au Naturale?? I know, I know, that's too many question marks. There would have been more but I couldn't think of any other training methods! It's a lovely picture and I did not give it the attention it was due yesterday. And what better way to start the day off right than with new life, and new possibilities!

Enough already - I can not believe the beating GF is taking here. For what? Using four capital letters and saying she needs to know? She wasn't attacking chaka, she was reacting to a radical idea. I'm sure she is just as interested in the further information as anyone else. I thought we appreciated her because she helps separate fact from folklore.

This whole circus is based on the assumption that chaka was offended and driven away by GF's post, and demands for her apology. And still - even after chaka has said he was not offended, not driven away, and does not see any reason for an apology.

I guess GF knows now she better google something before questioning it here.

Many of the scholarly papers regarding the slug topic are under "paywall" meaning it costs money to even read them, but browsing of the archives reveals one of many scholarly articles referring to it Cookies Required - CAB Direct There is also a lot of papers being published in the scientific community currently that are wrong or misleading, people will do anything to get published as the lead author of a paper now days. Even JACS (Journal of American Chemical Society) is starting to lose its reputation. I certainly always lie on the side of being skeptical first until I see legit information published. So for someone to simply ask for the person who is making a claim to support their claim with evidence is not outlandish at all, in fact, I believe the person making the claim should have to supply the evidence, not make the other party go hunting around for it.

With that being said, everyone needs to RELAX and simmer down -- too much hostility in the recent pages of this journal. We all need to set aside our differences and sit in a circle and puff one out

Sorry its taken a few days to reply but ol fuzzy has had a touch of man flu recently & being slightly off colour...


Mmm revegging out doors, ye that is a tough one... i don't think much can be done as you are limited to nature & the natural on set of flowering etc

How ever Muxy/purple is showing signs of new growth/regeneration so damage is being repaired & may view this as revegging naturally as plants have a way of catching up from hard times

But !

I'm not sure when Mj starts too flower on average in your neck of the woods ?

The off set may reduce yield ? might cause stress to hermie the girl ? i'm not overly sure at the moment on what an out side girlie may do ? time will tell tho... & will be an interesting learning curve.

fluxy lady is looking better every day. she has not been fed since her transplant

a little over a week ago. her soil is stil plenty moist. I'm posting this pic from this morning for

your thoughts on some light discoloration on the new growth. it looks similar to her discoloration

that we concluded, looked like a cal/mag symptom. i'm just wondering if i should treat this

or leave her be for a couple more days. thankyou

Well I must find a solution to this.

The plant is a control for others out in the sticks.

She's not doing too good out doors, slowed growth and these slimy things to put up with.

I find some time tomorrow to try a combat this. Thanks guys for your shares.

After a damp showery night, like tonight, the damn thighs are out in their hundreds.

Plants in paving slabs are dandelion.

But some plants can used as sacrificial plants to gain the interest of some insects... lets just say some plants are a more preferred choice than others, just knowing what one !


Well slugs 'n' snails are pretty easy to deal with.

1.. Slug/snail pellets any good garden center will stock them..


2. Beer traps work, ya wanna do search on the internet for that one & should come up with many options giving the slugs 'n' snails a happy ending


3. Slugs/snails don't like slithering over sharp stuff so crushed sea shells work sprinkled around the plant.


4. Another good one is copper wire/pipes or coins... what this does is cause a mild electric shock which reacts with the slim of slug/snail... that is 100% fuzzy

I use that on runner beans...

just need to make perimeter of copper coins/pipe/wire around plant, sections of copper pipes can be split down side and used as a collar around base stem of the plant but may need suitable sized piping depending on stem girth/size !

Hey that was some thing else BUT?????have any of you taken a second to feel it from the slugs point of view,,,he more than likely use Ganja for the same reason,,,those poor little fellows just love to munch through the greenery,,,,imagine though for a second if you will slug turns up at its fav fulxy plant only to find it stinks of his family WoW now who wouldn't be a little upset it would put the poor thing off getting stoned on some good stalks
Really though I am thinking this will more than likely work real good,,,I don't like holding slugs even there slime stays on yer finger for a while I got home one evening last year to find some real big slugs on our door step they were stuck cause of the rain an when I took a closer look at the poor community one of little bleeders was eating its friend so if I can get by picking them up and putting em into the bucket then I am gonna try an do a load for the garden Brilliant share Chaka99 Trichster love to you an all the cicle folks
