Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restrained

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Honestly Trichs,

I read & re-read Lester's post a couple of times. What he wrote made complete sense to me. I am glad you are seriously considering that option. I believe that in the long run, if you do decide to implement Lester's advice, you will have a less stressful grow by implementing a more stable medium.

Keep her growing strong Buddy!

SABO, :high-five:thnx, u will never touch a broom again, I'm going to pawn your brand new leaf blower,

then get ingredients for new soil mix, w the $.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

OK BB's back.

Extract from Lesters post earlier.

"If my memory serves me right this is a coco medium, which I have never grown in, which isn't an actual soil. A plant this size needs a full on organic growing medium, she also needs a pH buffer. Having to play with the pH at all unless you are growing hydroponicly should not be a topic of concern for regular soil growing. It seems like we are in a cloud of smoke in regards to what's going on."

Now lets get a few things clear here about Coco.

Modern coco mediums are a far superior product to anything you may have learned 10 years ago.

Modern coco mediums are completely organic.

They are also extremely stable, very forgiving and SELF BUFFERING

The best quality has no Sodium issues as the nuts are sourced from inland India.

Runaway pH issues should rarely happen in coco and if they do should be very easy to correct.

It's aeration qualities are second to none.

In my opinion you cannot grow a cannabis plant in a container with an easier to manage medium than Coco. Period.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Oh BTW Trichster,

I would like to congratulate you on becoming a "Cannabis Connoisseur" Well deserved!

:adore:

I noticed that too lol how do we do that?

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Nice post BB on coco, I'm going to be learning a lot here & I hope this leads to a very great discussion with tons of great info.

You just need all the nice peeps to give you loads of Reps.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I would urge anyone thinking of using Coco in a future grow, to first get off the

forums and go read as much info from as many manufactures as you can find.

Ahh it is still rep based ok got it! Thanks Brassic! I will not beg for rep though I need to earn it lmao.... Well and deserve it too ><

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I used Epsom salts in my grow after watering with distilled water for the first 30 days. I used a tablespoon per gallon of water to head off a Cal/mag Def. After 2 weeks I discontinued use, because after all, it is a salt!
Did it correct your issues?

Trichster, I think you might want to wait a minute until SABO replies before going all out & transplanting. If he had good results with epsom salt that would make two positive post (him... & Rosebud who's plant looked like it had the same issue) for a remedy. You still have the transplant option if not.

I noticed that too lol how do we do that?
It's a title the MODs give. I'm not sure why.

EDIT... Oh, That's why.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

This thread moves so fast you can't even post without having to go back. It's a 24/7 THE REPS ARE RIGHT

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

B A R & Trichs,

Yes, Epsom salts headed off the problem very quickly & effectively. Not much is needed at all. Remember, I was in FFOF, not coco where I do not have any experience or knowledge.

I am following this very closely.

You can say that again,:thanks: BrassicBrit:thumb: you have helped the hardest!

You :passitleft: were the guy to tell me that I have to check the PH coming OUT, what goes in has NOTHING to do w/ my issue.

BB is VERY VERY VERY successful w/ COCO!

Mine was from India, I bought the best I could find, Lester nailed it with,

my thought of putting the 3 gallon transplant (all soil) on top of the coco, was a bad idea.

I made a "recipe for disaster" I told you guys/gals, I'm a novice to intermediate grower, at best.

That's why I'm HERE!!

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Hey Trichster

I'm a believer in adding a bit of Epsom every couple of weeks.

About 1/2 to 1 tsp per gal seems to do the trick.

I dissolve in a little hot water then just add to my nute mix.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

So there you have it. I'm also going to try a little epsom salt.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Yes, after I switched away from Epsom salts, I then introduced unsulphered molasses (loaded with goodies), but then stopped that about 2 weeks ago, because gnats just love that a little bit too much. Next week I'm adding a Tbl spoon of Epsom salts.

Trichster when I'm invited to your yard, you can call me what the devil you like :cheesygrinsmiley:

Edit: As long as there is a smooth malt at the end of the bar (optional but nice)
