It seems impossible to find a regular plastic string in this woke country. Everything is "natural" or hemp based while that's alright for some applications plastic is inert and can't get dirty and I ovulated by bacteria and fungi and decompose. I guess I have to order the most basic thing in the modern world, plastic gardening string.

I didn't reach lights on today so I will take runoff reading in 3 hours with the next feed cycle. I've been changing the feed time for the pump. I guess as brand new pump work slightly better than a 15 year old one? It's on for 15 seconds every cycle. Still need to figure out what to do about the timer. I need to send the other one in for warranty claim.

Mission accomplished today. Had to travel in to town to get some packaging string and not the thin one I like, oh well it will work just the same. Added some green garden wire to fasten some of the tops in the net, that will be an ongoing process.

Second runoff reading:
900ppm / 1.8 EC in, 1100ppm / 2.2 EC out.

Lowering input to 850ppm / 1.7 EC.

pH 5.5 in, pH 6.3 out.

She's about two weeks in to flower. ~20 days since flip. She will need the extra support and will swell like popcorn in the upcoming weeks. Her main job now should be producing flowers instead of structural support. She's already started to sag on some of the larger tops that I had to fixate to the second net.

I can raise it if I have to and it would be almost impossible to add another net in two weeks time. It's already a struggle to install now in early flower.

This will probably be the next runs candidates whenever that may be. I also have AK47, Serious Kush, Kali Mist, Bubblegum, StrawberryAK, Ms. Universe and own crosses. Probably forgot half but those are the latest additions.

In the fridge it goes with the rest of the pack. Glass jar with a Silica pack inside to keep it dry.

Praying before lights on. Sorted the watering issues and slightly low RH.

Increased rate of growth and nutrient intake. Runoff's been almost identical to input meaning she's eating more. I want to stay slightly above requirements but just above. Thrips are having a blast eating on the leaves but it's more of a "this looks annoying" instead of she being in any real danger.

I add about 3 gallons every day to every other day to the reservoir. I've calculated that I currently feed about 1.3-1.5 gallons at every water/feed cycle/interval.

Increased feeding strength to ~1100ppm / 2.2 EC.

She keeps on drinking and eating more. Hungry girl and she's starting to smell real gassy. Happy to smell that, my friend only had a faint sweet smell when he grew her, but he also chopped way early.

Looking good. My hydro Fuel D.OG is turning out to be a great medicine weed for me. I tend to cough when smoking and cough vape even more. It's been a challenge with the staples holding me together but it's already getting better.
The Acapulco Gold harvest last month is turning out to be just like the Cheech and Chong ditti about it. It's badass weed. Very pleasant euphoric high. Fuel D.OG more couch lock. Both desirable effects for me.

Looking good. My hydro Fuel D.OG is turning out to be a great medicine weed for me. I tend to cough when smoking and cough vape even more. It's been a challenge with the staples holding me together but it's already getting better.

Thanks bud! Some leaves are gonna look bad in the upcoming weeks from the thrips but that's about it. Skywalker is really healthy and grows with such a rate at the moment so they can't do much damage.

I have to grow Acapulco sometime. The structure and high reminds me of Durban and I've grown more Durban Poison and crosses of it more than anything. As I've gotten older I've leaned more toward the indica side for the more pain relieving properties.

I miss my G-39 I had back in the day (Green Manalishi x HeadCandy). Very pain relieving but still a Euphoric and uplifting Sativa high. I haven't come across that effect since but I'm gonna research some today what NAW is currently up to and if his still around?

Cannabis threatens to many interest in society. There not a plant that produces a wider range of terpenes and Cannabinoids that could be converted to everything from fuel to building materials, fabrics and a wide range of a complete new branch of medicines.

I believe one of the main reasons were in this mess today is because of probation and regulatory decision made in the early 1900's. We dont need oil to run cars when there are plants that produce complex resins and some trees even producing high concentrations of hydrocarbons.

It's all bullshit when profit is the main factor for "growth", then the real truth is always gonna be polluted by other peoples and groups own interests.

We have to do what we rationally and intuitively know is right no matter what big brother says is the narrative.

She seem stable there for now. Let's see where she settles. Way higher feeding compared to last run with Kali Mist.

Runoff is ramping up. Last runoff reading came out at almost 1500ppm / 3.0 EC which tells me the medium is back to where it was before the pump failure. It's better at holding nutrients and there's a lot of things in play there. Root health, it's development and saturation, chelators and microbial life. All of them goes in the gutter at to much dry back.

Lowered input to 800ppm / 1.6 EC and we'll see where she settles. Ran another cycle and it came out 1350ppm / 2.7 EC which is acceptable. It will slowly lower and finally settle.

The OG funk is really coming in! It's impossible to go unnoticed at this point. It will probably be some Chem notes in this girl, we'll see. Nice and dense looking Pom Pom's!

Runoff is ramping down! That's what I wanted to see. I lowered I put to ~750ppm / 1.5 EC yesterday.

500ppm / 1.0 EC in, 1000ppm / 2.0 EC out.

That's perfect! It's been slowly ramping up from 750ppm / 1.5 EC since yesterday. Seems stable here. I made some essential oil spray with 5 drops of each lavender oil, peppermint and orange oil and unscented dish soap into 1L of water to try to scare the thrips away.

I only spray the bottom corners of the tent and nothing on the plant. I also added more sticky traps to combat the thrips better. Let's see how they like the smell?
