Wardrobe Grow - CFL- Only - Auto Mazar + Rescued Cannatonic + Dieseltonic

On the subject of Aquaponics,

I have been using squeezed out fishcrap from my aquarium filter.

Apart from the broken down plant and fish matter,

there are millions of nitrifying bacteria in there as well.

There is a supplement for ponds, which is just freeze dried nitrifying bacteria.

I wonder if that would be a good watering/compost tea additive?

I used to have tropical fish aquariums for more then 20 years, my fish bred and i had generation 4 offspring for one breed. I have been aware and used additives for nitrifying bacteria with large amounts of nitrifying bacteria in my sub-strait rocks and filters. I am aware of nitrifying bacteria's role in soil as well. I have often wondered what supplementing nitrifying bacteria to soil/soiless and hydroponic/aeroponic growing may hold. nitrifying bacteria certainly has a role in breaking down organics to less harmful and usable forms of fertilizing nutrients.

I got out my old camera and it does HPS :) Sort of...

They only had "fish manure" for a few weeks exclusively and seemed really healthy,

apart from some purpling of leaf-stems.
That seems to have cleared up after watering twice with added potassium sulphate :thumb:

Be careful with that Wooden Stake. Im pretty sure the Count doesnt even like it touching him.

Frosty Fans Fade Fear Fully.

:)

The count was not impressed at all :)

It was only for the photo. He'll live/not live.

Looking great as usual sir, can't wait til I have a big space like that, you da man! Reps Fo Sho!

Cheers Hodder, my new Nikon is crap. 26 Megapixels of crap.

These were taken with my old 5 Megapixel Fuji.

Its programmable :)

Spimp, I told PJ we can still be friends but I think UB801...EDT... (I meant Dutch Dragon) scared him off. :laughtwo: I honestly believe it was an attempt at humor but I don't play like that. Whether in real life or virtual reality I always set the record straight immediately!

No hard feelings PJ; Your welcomed in these parts.

How was the trip Spimp?

Haven't been on in a couple of days. Sorry I caused a commotion! Two big cups of coffee and a couple of huge rips of speedy Sour Diesel led to making a post in a hurry without thinking about it first. I was only poking fun at Rico's post - it separated Broke as someone who could PM Rico who wasn't his friend. It wasn't intended to be mean spirited! Nonetheless, it fell flat...

:sorry:

Water under the bridge.. That sounds like Hydro-Aqua-Turbine-A-Ponics to me. ;)

Hows the Greenhouse Goddess today sir?

You mean "the Patient"?

I collected 2 spider nests off her today, along with the suck together leaves.

1 normal spidernest and one spider-mitey looking one. full of lil white spiders

The amputation scar is looking a bit dodgy as well, and her flowers are less developed than the others'

But her smell is dank, different from the underground ones. (which are starting to smell quite strongly)

I wonder if we will ever have a "Hydro-Aqua-Turbine-A-Ponics" Thread? :scratchinghead:

It's similar to "Flooming" but with a bridge, obviously ;)

I have a spider scare currently as well.
The last two days I have had a little webbing, but I also 'composted' two spiders of smallish size so they could very well be the culprits. I havnt seen any 'bites' yet so Im hoping the planters I scavanged from outside only had those two guys.
Im not a peaceful all loving person when it comes to spiders. ;) I erraticate them with extreme prejudice.
I once made a deal with a spider trying to be a better person. I told him that if I put him outside to tell his friends to never come back. He didnt uphold his end of the bargin so now I tend to get stompy. :):)

I hope you are using one of those grip masters, or something to exercise your hands, it looks you are going to be doing A LOT of trimming in the near future. Your plants have that look like they are going to turn into massive colas!

Thank you for the good vibes my friend, they seem to be working! My plants are very happy this morning. I am a little worried as rain is in the forecast. I wish I could let them get a nice rinse, there seems to be something magical about rain water; but I worry about the mold, or trichs getting knocked off. I think I will just put them under my patio with a tarp to protect them overhead. I would be interested to hear your thoughts too.
