I'm sticking with fluorescents for now.

Trying to make the most of what I have and what I can gather.

Use pieces of wood to build a cabinet, or

Cut a hole in the base of your pc box

and build a base wherein your pot can sit,

with your pc box on top.

This takes the pot out of the pc box, leaving only the pot in the pc box.

Sounds oxymoronic, but you know it makes sense

sounds good, im not sure i get the second part, im thinking of building a small cabinet for veg and flower... not sure how yet but im thinking about pallets, disassemble, and reconfigure

If you have space, you could build a box out of pallets. That would be perfect.
