After these pics i started with an organic and a non-organic 8-8-8 with macronutrients from Lidl. Diluted to quarter recommended dose and alternately used with superthrive.

The big, deep trays are essential with the aero-pots.

I guess different things just ain't the same as they used to be :dreamy:

G'night ser Fish, I'm off to look at the back of my eyelids for a few hours in the dark :partyboy:
let me know if something doesn't look the same or if its different then something that your not used too.
sweet dream brother:):hmmmm::snooze::snooze:

Thanks, Fishy. I'm used to a variety of different things,
so I'll let you know if I see anything out of, or in, the ordinary :thumb:

Thank you as well, Wacky. If I can't improvise, I just try something new. Talk soon :high-five:

I'm off to hunt for zzz's. Hope I find some......:xmas:

Thank you! She will give, just let her grow now! All that small growth gives me is popcorn buds...once the mains are established they hog the nutrients.........just my experience........

I cut her main top off. all she has are the lil uns :)

You cut the mains...so the small ones become the mains, unless you cut them off too! You can see the small growth below the lolipop, it will never get enough juice to amount to anything but a pain in my ass. What I have found is that regardless of the small growth and popcorn, if I remove it the plant objects....the very last thing I want is my plant being slowed or stressed during the critical bud formation period.

I hear folks associating defoliation with lolipopping, defoliation has NO reference with lolipopping, lollipoppin is the act of manipulating a branch into a horizontal configuration allowing the side growth to grow upwards...with the additional light and exposure that is afforded in this manner. See the slight lightness of the leaves that are a little lower down?, these are the lowest leaves and this is why I'm going to hit em with triple sixteen on wed, that will give em enough N to support the increased growth and keep the plants from yellowing, or from drawing the energy reserves from the leaves until I decide it's time to wring it out. The plants are growing so quickly they are unable to draw the nutrients from the soil quickly enough to support the rapid growth, and they're drawing from the leaves...leaves aren't takers...they are givers, try taking half the solar panels off your house and it will only operate at a diminished capacity........all you have to give the panels is light!

Ive seen lollipoping described as removing the under growth and popcorn buds so that the plant looks like a lollipop. Basically the scrog manuever wo the screen and in xmas tree shape. What you are describing sounds like supercropping, bending the main shot sideways? Am I confused?

I'm on the same page as Spimp I'm a bit lost on what's going on. Could you break it down in simpleton form for me? :)

Or maybe I am, but I doubt it. Lollipopping is just making the side growth grow upwards rather than laterally....you can do it anyway you like, it has nothing to do with removing anything...you can lst, hst...or lay the pot on it's side for that matter...a lollipop is a bud that has been trained to grow vertical rather than sideways...then vertically. I wonder who described it like that....that is pruning and defoliation. Supercropping or hst is the act of actually breaking the fibres in the branch or stem......then moving it some where....you can break the branch to point down to the ground, or sideways........it's still cropping....or as stoners say, supercropping. I find that a lot of techniques get stonerized when someone believes they discovered a technique, which in actuality has been performed for thousands of years........I try to keep it real, speak in the language of farmers and horticulturist, then when I do get to talk to the pros they can really dig in cuz they see I'm halfway savvy to the lingo and they can communicate with me in terms WE ALL are familiar with, and I don't project myself as a stoner....which they may have preconceived ideas about, and possibly gain some credibility for our cause.

I was thinking the same thing Rico. :) Mcloadie has 100x more knowledge than me for sure. No question. But I think when reffering to MJ, that pic is lollipopping.
I suggest we change Mcloadies term to 'lolliCropping". ;) All I want to do is have one plant as pretty as any of MC's and Ill be happy. Ill call it 'superlollicropstering' if that helps me grow like you two. :)
