Just wonderful bill they're tall girls arnt they 👍 so glad to see the show back on the road.

Its so clean and nice, mate!

What you going to do about drainage later? Its my biggest bug at the moment but got a solution for me - 14 plants? That’s some water requirement so it needs to go in and go out somewhere!

And get mixed, etc.
Funny you asked that I've been out in the snow digging.
I can't remember where I left the Trays.
I thought they were in the shed.
But I must have moved them during the summer.
I dug through 4' of snow twice to no avail.
I'll be ordering something new I imagine.
You have a nice one I see.
I need something bigger.
I had 2 nice 2'x2' black ones I planned on using but.hehe
As far as nutrients go I have a couple options 100 & 300 litres.
But I want to organize the work area and shelving to see where is best.
It's still under construction.
My mobility is limited lately with snow and fire wood.
I haven't completed much in a few days.
It'll come together in time.
How is your wee one doing?

I want a nutrient supplier that I don't have to jump through hoops to use.
Unfortunately they don't have a supplier in Canada yet.
Missed this before.

This is 100% great advice.

I use DP - not a sponsor. Old school Amsterdam guys. Sure they’re very good. Maybe there is someone slightly better. But they have a national supplier so the supply chain is 3-4 days and I can order bulk 20L for A+B and 5L for extras. (Or 1L or even 250ml but honestly that’s a single tank 🤣)

But the supply chain and knowing I don’t have to swap out mid grow and learn something new is the single biggest benefit for me.

Hard enough going from the soil blended to the hydro blended of the same supplier. Changing suppliers must be whole new pain!

Stick with what is easily available for the important stuff for sure.

Nick

She’s much better thanks - hopefully back to school tomorrow.

Awesome Bill! Love that floor heat!
Girls are coming up nicely!
Thanks Stone :thanks:
I'm still trying to figure out how it's working.
Temps and parameters.
Should be interesting learning as I go.
It was minus 34c Friday the floor maintained at 28 c.
That's a 62c degree difference within 12" pretty cool.:thumb:
But my senor in the cup said 18 c down from 22c
So I lost 4 degrees Celsius at minus 34c outside.
Not freeken bad I'm happy at a 18 c low when it's that cold.
So I'm still learning how it's working.
I haven't even put a monitor in the 5'x5' yet.
And I have exhaust and intake to set up.
I better get back to work.:nomo:
Hope your doing well my friend. :high-five:

Good Afternoon G.F.:high-five:
They are tall for sure.
Entirely my fault.
By the time I got all the sprouts into cups labeled and layered.
And all documented I just slid the cups into the room and went to bed basically
The light was at 3' and only 25%.
The next morning they were 3" tall.
I dropped the light immediately 18" @ 50% next day 75% 2 days later 100%.
They are growing normal now but the damage is done.
But no big deal.
I'll just plant them a little deeper.
I'm just happy they are all still alive 15/15 @Herbies Seeds :thumb:
Take care. :passitleft:

You are correct sir.
I did it in Heavens Shores Remo to Rx.
I don't recommend it.
I was using 100 litres a day and ran out of Remo.
I had Rx in stock so I used it.
Fortunately it worked out for me.
But I want a supplier that's consistently available.
Not just the product.
The actual people that make it.
If you have an issue you want service and possibly advice.
If I can't get a response from a company in a timely manner I have difficulty recommending them.
No matter how good the nutrients are.
There are other considerations when choosing nutrients.
I would prefer a solid supplier with good service from now on.
I have @Plagron on the way.;)
I'm interested to know if their service is as good as their nutrients .
I'll be firing up the greenhouse before you know it.
So who ever I choose will require some volume aswell.

Ooph! Hard yards in the snow.

Yeah mine look great think what I’ve been looking for. I got the smaller ones which are 40x40cm - 15.5x15.5” but there’s a bigger 22x22” so just shy of 2x2’ as well. Worth a look but expensive. I paid $300 for 21 but bet they’re at least double that in the West.

If talking tank size for nutes? 100L would be fine. For nute volume I figure my Veg will last 10 grows and my Bloom 4 grows. Off 160L total and 21 plants. Plus Calmag and others.

Thanks Stone :thanks:

Still no sign of life from the 2 and it’s been 6 days today but fingers crossed 🤞. How often do you water when waiting for popped beans to sprout using your method? CL🍀 :morenutes: :ciao::morenutes::420:

Hey Bill how often do you water popped beans waiting to sprout with your method? CL🍀
Hey Cap'n :ciao:
I feed to runoff to start, then I keep the cup wet.
So maby every other day at first.
Until they start drinking regularly then it's daily.
Always just a little on top.
Then around the parameter in the moat.
I'm running coco so it has to stay moist.
Soil is a bit longer in between if you have the layers.
How many do you have so far?
