Hope your weekend went well.
The trick to Fly fishing is you need flys first. ;)
When the weather breaks the bugs hatch and trout start eating them.
Without that hatch your using wet Flys, halgamites and larve type insects.
Traditional Fly Fishing won't be for a couple more weeks.
If it stops snowing.
Worms work great, that and Roe.
But I'm out of Roe.
Still wouldn't mind some sunshine though.

We have been having 40degreeF. weather for the past few days after it being in the 80s so it makes it feel colder now.Smh typical crazy Chicago weather but at least there’s no snow ❄️. CL🍀

I can't believe it's still snowing. :rolleyes:
It'll take forever to get the clones into the greenhouse.
And I'm out of room.o_O
I want to cut them today.
But I'm not sure It'll be warm enough to move them outside in 2 weeks.
Otherwise I'm hanging a light in the work shop, hehe.

It's almost May and the greenhouse is still frozen to the ground.
Got an ice chipper I can borrow?;)

Oh I'm definitely not catching them lol if that job was in my hands my family would starve 🤣 I caught some sticklebacks in a river once that's as far as my skills go!
I'm on holiday so I have Turkish trout on tap untill tomorrow 😩
Get that light hung! I guarantee the greenhouse will be ready as soon as you do 🤣 just the way it works.

We are just warming up again from the spring snowstorm. All the snow was gone than we got a foot, in a couple days -14 for a couple nights. Had to clean off the greenhouse 3 times.
I know how you feel Bill :rolleyes:

I am sure you will figure it out Bill and as for hanging a light you should see the set up, I have for my 5 seedlings, It is a small round florescent light hanging off a small wooden motorcycle rocking horse, Not pretty but I think it works, theres been no sun here for the last 4 or 5 days. I am sure what ever you set up will look and work great. I think I will buy some clones to try as soon as the dispensary has some.

For the most part yeah the frost is still coming out.
Half load restrictions are still in effect, for trucks.
Snow has given way to rain now. :thumb:
So it's got to be above zero.
Not by much but you got to start somewhere. :rofl:

Hauling firewood shovelling snow and clearing the greenhouse.

I purposely never trimmed the veg room.
I have enough shoots to make 100 clones.
It's had to restrain myself sometimes, hehe.
