Hey Bill I’m catching up now hope you guys are doing well! I’m still not back but I pop in from time to time just working like crazy as always one day I’ll get that vacation lol!

Julia and the kids are doing great! First month or so was touch and go with Scarlet but she is doing good now maintaining weight.

I saw you got to meet the Reno friends that’s freaking awesome! Little jealous haha either way I hope everything turns out great and I love the new grow setup stay safe my friend!

That snow looks tough. I didn't even have to shovel this year and the electric bills were unreal.

$110.00 a month before the grow room.
$140.00 with both rooms on.
But firewood and snow ploughing make up for the difference I bet.
Then $100.00 or so a month for feken gas aswell.
It adds up quick.

As a percentage feel like that’s us. But we been summoned to the elctricty company before they give us the bill. I’m guessing they want to upgrade us to three phase. Which will be awesome. We have 3 phase to the corner the property already. 2x 220v connected. To add the third is just a 20m cable into the MCB - know from my sparky and the generator guy we hired to plug on direct to our mains electricity ($150USD for the day but seriously / 4th week of flower!)

I know people paid say $2500 to $10k US for this stuff. But basically I don’t exist. & Co does it all with it them not knowing its not a Thai husband.

We won’t pay more than $50 for the upgrade I reckon.

But they matched commercial rates with residential and we’ll probably draw less with 3 phases and it will be more stable. So winna winna.

The bill last month was about $500 - but it was $350 before around 3500w of lights, 1000w of inlines, 2000w of dehumidifiers and oh fans.

$150 for all that?

Yeah. Meh.

Good Morning Res.
I went to move a 5 gal bag and it slipped.
I yanked the root ball right out.
Bag hit the floor and coco was everywhere.
Oh no I killed Apple Betty I thought.
Well it's had a 12" growth spurt since it happened.
None of the others have this stretch in veg.
Might be a new training technique.
I didn't want cheap wire racks to mount stuff to.
So I gathered up the 1" steel fittings and used them.
I have it bolted to the ceiling aswell for the lights.
The floor is radiant electric heat, not water.
I'll post a few pics and explain what is what.

2x6 pt with Roxul insulation and vapor barrier underneath and double foil barrier above.

2x4 framed walls. 2x6 ceiling all with Roxul insulation.
Aspenite and Styrofoam SM and 2 layers of Tyvek on the exterior.
Ice and water shield on the roof covered with a layer of steel.
Inside is double foil vapor barrier sealed completely then drywall.
The floor has cables for heating along with 6" of concrete and tile for a thermal mass.

The door swings out for space.
Immediately on the right is the 4x4 veg room.
Then the 5x5 flower room.
Leaving approximately 10 x 5 for a work shop
I ran #8 tech cable to a 60 amp breaker in the panel.
I have an 8 circuit sub panel in there with lights and plugs.
I can put in a heat pump if I need AC. Lots of power.
Then GrowHub and @VIVOSUN equipment.
I find anything other than 5's needs watered constantly.
These 1.5' could use 2x a day but still in veg so I just soak the heck out of them once a day.
Full strength Plagron with a bit of kelp and food for the microbes.
I'll have to do double that soon.
But talk about simple to use. Same amount of each in the jug then set ph, done.
I've got a 100 more pics I'll keep posting as we progress.
Anything in particular you need a better breakdown of?

Hey Bill this just came to me, what you should do whenever it thaws is with your stream in the yard run a hydro-generator. Depending on how big you want to go with you prolly could provide your juice for free. And it really wouldn’t be that much of a job. CL

Today is day 2 with the lights on.
March 31st lights out for 24 hrs.
April first was first day of 12/12..
A couple three weeks late.
But I'm still building and setting up.
I should have waited but I was impatient, just wanted to pop seeds.
And Dam if all 15 made it.
I ended with too many, I have to get used to this smaller rooms , 4x4 and 5x5.
My other flower rooms were 4x8 so 10- 12 plants no problem.
Now I have to be careful what I put in there.
I want a harvest every month so I'll have to watch space more carefully.
When did you flip?

Raise them? Freeken plants going to push them out of the tent.
I've got 10 feet and I bet I use every inch of it.
That Apple Betty I pulled out of the pot grew a foot taller than the others after that.
She is 4 feet tall easy so double that.
That’s why I wanted to flip 3 weeks ago but I wasn't ready.
Live and learn right.

Just incredible, that plant was close to the lights 36 hours ago, already with the 8” recommended by Mars with Co2 and has pushed past with no burn.

I need to get to the has shop and swap the empty one.

5 gallons of dirty water all over the floor.
The dam dehumidifier stuck on all night again.
40c when I opened the door.
Was a panic and knocked it off the shelf.
Girls are doing great though.

I still have adjustments to be made to the air circulation system.
But the girls are a hardy breed and fairing well.

What a dam mess.
Potassium Silicate and great @Herbies Seeds genetics kept them going in the face of adversity.
I set the big humidifier up in the lung room yesterday.
I still can't figure out the settings.
Dam thing ran for 12 hrs straight, was 40 c in there. Fek.
I'll have to ask @Rexer for the instructions, hehe.

Don’t feel bad, my inkbird only has 3 buttons and I watched a video on Utube but still can’t setup the damn thing. It still gives the correct temp + rh though. CL
