Coco Peat

Its the inner husk - the white bit and the green shell allowed to compost. Then it gets cooked to kill bugs because its designed for growing.

Coco Coir

Its the already now hard brown shell and the hair on the outside, the “coir”
asian for rope or “ponytail” a man might have in his hair.

Maybe cooked. Maybe dried into bricks to be filled with water in Europe or the US.

I have a ready source of cooked AAA Grade Coco Peat.

Its the Glengarry… 😂

And on Tuesday I have 400L being delivered.

To go with the 220 litres I have already. I’m thinking if I spell out “420” in 420 litres of coco peat boxes in my carport that’s an hour well spent 😆

The coco coir is quite s bit more airy / like wood chips. The peat retains the moisture a touch longer. Which I think is preferable. Because the coco is bone dry after an hour

Depending on the size of your garden.

I didn't see anything for a dollar lots of stuff was $4-$5 bucks!!

Yeah its just a thing. But make it as much of an easy thing as you can.

I’m lucky my partner helps with (does the) watering

But this is her wedding anniversary present (haven’t told her that yet, and she’s installing it herself which is a bit mean 🤣

But yeah watering is just a daily thing in flower in coco. You make it as easy as possible. But that's the discipline. You want max return its what you do.

For me its right now for the highest quality in the highest volume.

For Bill in recovery from disaster nee build grow very similar and needs get done before the greenhouse build.

For @InTheShed it's a bit more fun. For personal and just technically pushing it with clone fun and mini SIPS

For @Azimuth The SIPS the thing and must be respected!

But I’m fully with @Bill284 if you want to get close to max return of power to cured weed coco, artificial nutes, dynomyco, Co2 and banging lights is the way to go.

Sure other ways to grow are fun. But that’s optimal.

And its got to be fun or why bother? Its hard work!

We are having a few people over tonight for Stacey's Birthday.
I been cleaning and working around the house trying to get ready.
Birthday and Valentines day a week apart, aren't I lucky. :rofl:

This is amazing. So glad she threw me out the house while she built it with the builder. Bet its better than if I’d been involved 😂

Just some irrigation pipe simplification and we can flush tonight. Aweee-soome!

Quick question :Namaste:
You are using what 1"- 3/4" drain pipe? :love:
Those shark bite style connections have a dip that will catch coco & perlite.
Which you know pisses out the bottom.
Do you have a filter or a catch Y?
I can show you if you like.
But if you don't do something before it starts to fill up you may have an issue down the road.
