I bought them a year before you, Bill. How did you find the taste of the browning leaves? I am still smoking from my 2022 cafe racer grow, have a1 small mason jar abot 65 grams left out of the 4 lbs I got. I add a lil hash with it.

My new cafe racer curing. About to trim the second tomorrow. Will only get half the yield of the first but the missus says its the best smelling ever. She rarely smokes.

They are great when you are in a bind with aloot of trimming but the long term storage , I thing is a different thing to avoid the browning.

What do you think?

I've heard good things about Cafe racer, never had the chance to try it though.
I'm not sure what brown leaves your referring too my friend.
I wet trim as soon as I chop.
Once it's hung a week and dry enough I put it into Grove Bags 62-66 rh.
Trim buds off branches and into Bags.
At this point the only leaves in my Bags are small sugar leaves I couldn't get with trimmers.
I still have a pound of apple betty in that 5 pound bag, with a hygrometer.
It's at 62% still and green & beautiful.
When the sun is up ill go get it and take pics.

How does the Purple Kush smoke Bill?

That was an amazing plant.

To this day I swear PK is the best plant to grow, it seems to be bulletproof, indoors or out.

It's a beautiful plant to grow.
Stable genetics and and fast growth from her.
I'm hoping for a big haul.
The smoke is lovely.
I'm not a fan of sativa Dom crosses.
Which seemed to be prolific for a while.
Nice relaxing feeling is what I get.
No high for me so I can't say about that.
I get pain relief for a bit, best I can hope for.
But for size and buds it rivals Apple Betty,.
Should be an awesome harvest
This strain I'd recommend for sure.

Hope you have lots of jars
I wet trim and hang for a week until they are around 66 rh then jar and burp 2x a day for a week then once a week for a week.
Then I burp once a week for a couple more weeks.
It gets dizzying really.
The grove bags are amazing.

Holy Moly! The 11/3 date on Apple Betty makes my harvest nerves calmer Bill! What a roomful of hanging weed that was! If I get half that I'll be happy!

Thanks Bill! Our show is about to come on! Already buds are growing larger by the day! I got that second one caged up yesterday so now I'm reaching in and trimming off more inner shoots and keeping them happy!

Just out of curiosity? Judging by the media wet spot, are those yellow leaves getting wet when you feed/water?

I want to pluck them off so bad my right eye is twitching.

And I don’t think water makes leaves yellow. I think a couple of yellow leaves on an aging plant are the equivalent to a couple of grey hairs. Normal, natural. But as a vain woman, I pluck those motherfuckers!

I think as long as the vast majority of leaves is healthy, then you’re doing it right.

I have seen many a grower in here fuck up a perfectly good plant by over complicating their grows based on a couple of dodgy leaves.
