The Wedding Cake is coming down, she tripped 8 weeks on Monday… Truly I have trashed this plant, yet she’s been a champion.
She was light green like 3rd week of flower, I went way overboard with N, she’s such a dark shade of green still that its nearly black. Guess dark green is slightly better than yellow huh? After putting her in the tent I moved all 4 of T-5 fixtures in close for a nite but then forgot to move them back the next morning when I left for 2 days. whoops on that noise and also left fans on high as well… she’s got dem curly girl fan leaf feels all up in her grill from windburn. She’s a little bit crispy on edges from abuse but she’s dripping more than enough sugar to make up for it. After rechecking the fan leaves are still supple just the edges curled from windburn… ahh that’s a relief!!!
Yeah WC has been rode hard and put up wet more than once, but main thing is - stick a fork in her, she’s done!! She finished out at 35 inches from top of soil, got 8 smaller colas on bottom row about 14 chunkies in middle, wearing 3 or 4 fatties as necklace and then the main top.
Using T-5 lites on vertical mount is pretty cool as supplemental for Christmas tree style plant, it built decent nugs on lowers & mids whereas the mars hydro lite alone wouldn’t have got that done. I‘ve grown bigger plants (yield wise) and smaller plants than her, had some ugly ones and then some real fugly ones.
Anywho my hat is off, so long Wedding Cake it’s been real, hopefully your Gen 2 clone girlies will have a better life… I’m guesstimating 7 to 10 zips, but won’t know weights for while...doing the no chop harvest and all. Dumped her res days ago so res has been dry and soil dipstick says soil is almost completely dry. Its been a very dry winter here but was running dehum just to avoid any flack.
Gotta nuke the tent and reshuffle, bean drop plus a few clones trying to root up. Its finally time for Wedding Cake testers, need that indica groove for pain management
