Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

That sucks. I hope you find a deal on one if they won 't replace it.
I haven't started to play with mine yet. It is really cool though. It seems like the quality is pretty good. Feels a lot more sturdy than the blue lab I tried. Heavier, could be the extra batteries though. Lots more features.

Finally something (other than you fine people) to make me smile today. Came 2 days early. Bought it off eBay and it came in a Amazon package....crafty sellers.

Is yers used or brand spanking new Hun?????

So you reviewed a bunch

How long, typically, does it hold calibration?

Ant specific storing things ya need ta do?

Any other reasons I should run out and buy one? Price seems good

Talking to the Mr. last night. We decided that we are going to move back to Minnesota next year. I feel like a sailor too far from the sea. It's time to go home.

Well, for one the bulb won't die it it dries out.
It has a warning or heads up mode for pH outside of normal parameters. Turns red.
Giant lighted screen. Red, blue and green screens correspond to different modes.
:) Happy face screen indicator when a stable reading is reached.
Replaceable probe.
Uses AAA batteries.
3 pt. calibration.
Self diagnostics.
Factory reset mode
Mine came with calibration and storage solution, laminated quick guide, instruction book, lanyard, storage bottles, batteries and hard case. $74 delivered, with tax.
I spent about 30 or so hours reading reviews (not all at once, thank god, they are so boring.) and it was some of these features that initially attracted me to this particular tester. Ultimately it was the track record of their products. They have been around since the early 90s and are used world over in water treatment plants. I emailed my water treatment plant and they said they preferred their Apera testers because they hold calibration longer and are more reliable. They use the bench type mostly ,but they use a few pens too.

The bad....It has a glass probe that is a bit more exposed than some other brands, so care must be taken.

We never should have left.
Minnesotans are kind of different creatures. We love our state beyond words. They/we know how good we have it.

I may get one

Amazon has it for $79, eBay is like $70, but if there is an issue Amazon is great, don't trust eBay

I'll decide after this weekend

How is it stored, I need ta read up on that

Storage solution in the cap. It has the 3m brand. It is one thing they specify. If you get the wrong storage solution you can ruin the probe.
it says it it dries out to rehydrate it, set it back to factory and recalibrate it.

I forgot to mention that you can get different probes. They can get expensive. They have the regular probe, spear, flat and ORP sensor.
