Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

Jesus! Have I mentioned that you need track shoes?

Heal quickly.
I think you have me confused with the Messiah. Lol
He doesn't need those from what I've heard.
I could use some ice cleats tbh.
It gets dangerous here with all of the ice.
I really need to move to a less slippery climate in my old age. I don't want to break a hip or anything.
Bf is gonna try to keep me here but I'm very much against that. I've told him since the day we met that I'm not sticking around here when I'm old.
Screw that noise!

Slipped on the ice yesterday and threw my back out, messed up my hip too.
Took a bunch of Tylenol, cannabis, strong cannabis capsules and an extra strength topical for now.
I messed it up good. Gonna need some recovery time.

I'll either be on later, high as a damn kite or off for a few days, too incapacitated to type.
Time for the old shoe chains. Sorry VG. Get better quickly.

Sorry to hear you fell, VG. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I hope your recover quickly.

You're lucky that you live in the U.S. since you have so many warmer clime states than Canada does. The warmest place I could move to in Canada is British Columbia where the average temps are 68F but wet. Wet is no good for me as it makes me sorer.

But, you? You have Florida, Texas, California, New Mexico, Hawaii and Puerto Rico to choose from. You guys are so spoiled.

Peppermint Kush and Blueberry look like they are doing just fine under their new light.
I’d say so! Beautiful garden Vg:green_heart:

How do you get your pics to have the perfect colour temperature under your lights? My pics always have a orange tinge to them.

Sorry to hear that,VG...I hope it doesn't put you out of commission for very long!
I've been ice skating once in my life, managed to fall on my face and knock myself out...(very unforgiving, that damn ice...)

Although.... you do take some great pics when you're in pain and heavily medicated...(the silver lining?)

Beautiful plants, VG, absolutely beautiful!

In the ice's defense...it was many years ago, and I was pretty drunk!
Glad those days are in the rearview...

I'm a little better this morning. Still woke up hella sore.

I'm sure other parts of the US are nice. I just never get the chance to go anywhere. No $$$ and the bf has zero wanderlust.

Thanks N.

I set my camera phone to manual and then set it to verdant. Lol.
I do change the color settings on the phone. The pics are just a tad more vibrant than the plants actually are. It's really close though.
If I don't color correct they turn out washed out and yellow.
Your plants are all looking beautiful. So the new light must be a hit for them.:)

And I hope your feeling a little better today. Keep healing I’ve got good vibes heading your way.
Hi Nev!
I'm still watching the gals for light stress. So far so good. They seem on track. I was concerned that I was changing lights in flower but having a controller that shows me exactly how much light I'm using really takes the guess work out. So far I'm quite happy with it. It has only been a few days though.
If it's anything like the last Atreum that I was running,it's gonna be stellar.

I can't even count how many times I've fallen on the ice here. I'm so over it.

I really don't remember taking those pics. Turned out pretty good though.lo
I dunno, from VG's experience, ice is still up to the same old shit!
It is and I hate it. It's been trying to kill me for years now.

Just another month or so and I'll be out ripping my house apart. Have to do a ton of repairs and remove a bunch of wasp nests. Fun in the sun!

So not looking forward to it..

What a beautiful morning.
I started the day cleaning spilled cannabis oil out of my fridge. What a mess and such a waste.
My bf stuck two jumbo sized pizza boxes in the fridge and didn't notice that he knocked over my oil. Smh.
It leaked into the crisper drawer. Yuck!

My oil is stored in sealed glass bottles, but the fridge is counter depth so you couldn't fit a pizza box in it without folding it in half. :)
Mine was stored in an amber colored Ball jar. It shouldn't have leaked but when I picked it up the top was very noticably loose.
Guess I need to periodically check my jars now.

Somewhere along the road of cannabis cultivation I seem to have convinced myself that cannabis has its own set of rules. While this may be true for NPK ratios and lighting duration ,it doesn't mean that some of the general plant rules fly out the door.

One that I'd like to touch on is feeding a very dried out plant that's in flower.
At one time or another most of us have come across our plant being bone dry and drooping.
I would often panic a bit upon seeing their state and promptly feed the plant at it's normal strength. Soon after I get burned tips and lockout issues...loose a bunch of leaves.

For most plants kept inside the proper way to go about feeding a bone-dry plant is to wet the soil with plain water or a very diluted feed for at least a half hour and then feed at normal strength to run off. This should protect the roots from burning.

I know some of you are well seasoned growers and already know this. However,It's something that I don't see talked about very often and thought it good to mention it anyway.

That is all.....:rollit:
