It’s funny because they also have some of the best smells I’ve ever smelt of cannabis.

I had a DDA that literally smelt like shit during period of its flowering. Turned out the most delicious in the end but for a time there was wondering whether I’d be able to smoke it smelling like that. By the end it smelt like syrupy grape goodness with just a hint of funk, dank, dirt compost etc. Thank goodness!

Patchouli oil has been my favorite smell since I was a teenager (back in the days of hippies!). For some reason I heard it became known as a signal for gay men. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

My DDA smelled like rotten meat.
Now it smells like grape and berries etc. Very much like you described.

I love patchouli. My favorites men's cologne is patchouli based. It also has one hell of a slogan.

Old Spice just gets to me. Makes me melt.

I remember the ipecac scene. Omg. So gross yet so damn funny.
 
I just got a strange text from my bff asking how my mom is? If she's ok and how long has she been at the hospital?

She found out on Facebook. My younger brother posted. You know, to let everyone else in the world know but me.
Nobody in my family bothered to call me to tell me that my mom went to hospital by ambulance three hours ago. Shortness of breath is all I've heard so far.

Her Covid test came back negative. They have her on a CPAP machine and are keeping her overnight.
Talked to my oldest brother. He was much more helpful.
He also told me that my Uncle likely passed from a heart attack.
 
Covid negative is an excellent test result. It's also great they have room for her. Phewf!

And I'm glad you got some news on your Uncle to put your mind at ease a bit.

I haven't heard anything since last night. Not sure if that's bad.
I'm sure my brother will call me this morning and update her condition.
I think I passed out mid-sentence talking to the bf last night. Guess my body and brain had enough.
I'll keep y'all posted. Hopefully it's only good news.

I talked to her this afternoon.
She had 16 lbs. of fluid removed from around her heart and lungs. It's much easier for her the breathe now.
She said her brother's death got to her and she wasn't taking her medications regularly.
I haven't heard back the results from her EKG yet.

16 lbs. That's crazy. That's approx. 2 gallons of fluid.
 
Oof but good news! I'm glad she got to the hospital in time. I'm sure the docs there will sort her out and send her home with a good talking to about her meds.

She must feel lighter than air now!
