Try bud trimming the top 10% of each bud that is doing it. She should assume damage if she continues and focus on going more lateral. Usually a thing to do early if bids are elongated and you want them chunkier bit works on foxtailing too. That spiral is all but depleted terps and often low thc so no real loss to stop it continuing on.11 weeks FLO under (2x)XS1500, Harvest time!
"Still struggled with pH while she continued to fatten up. Started to foxtail on the top due to light so I turned them down to ~60%
Trichs were not going cloudy, pulled a tester nug, dried it quick and it does pack a wallop, fairly nice sativa high.
Fought daily with pH but wanted those trichomes to mature."
Another thought on the RnD side. Light movers that only travel 6 inches two-way. Often the par map shows the centre as the most intense and we know that the outer edges will be getting enough to grow but not nearly as much as the middle portion of the lights. With a 6 inch pendulum each way , we could either use that to keep all the plants within the coverage at full spectrum for the most part of every day but it could also mean a wider coverage area being possible for a very small rectangular light to cover( 150w full spectrum , Xs1500 maybe ? )
Same coverage as a larger square lights coverage but with less l.e.d/power needed and a low wattage pulley/motor/rail to move it. Again , this probably sounds nuts but everyone seems to go with more led to cover rather than maybe using a simple process of moving like the sun does throughout the day. That seems to do a good job of working the forests/ jungles and crops across a whole planet. Lol
