Sweet... literally, lol... so, do you attribute the increased quality/potency to the machine itself, or to the amount of ingredients used or the amount of reduction of glycerine volume or a combo of these things? I'm just curious as I wasn't sure about that machine since it's basically just automating a process of grinding and cooking and distilling.
I've noticed a lot of people don't take the cleaning steps or the grinding or decarbing steps when making their tinctures and butters/oils, which lowers potency and/or yield or just flat makes it taste like merde, lol. I'm trying to determine if the machine is actually worth it if you know how to and are willing to manually process the same way.
Right now I'm looking at water distillers to make honey oil.
Hey Rune!
Attribute the increased potency 100% to the quality and amount of quality ingredients.
I used only my best sweet leaf trim, along with about 3 ounces if I remember correctly of OG kush bud.
I did a half to half ratio with the glycerine to distilled water on this go.
The machine does an amazing job of cooking and mixing.
Having the option to set the temps in paramount when making tincture too so you don't cook off any of the good stuff.
That's the rad thing about this machine, it does it all for you!, cooking, mixing, decarbing.
I remember Buckshot saying he was making a tincture the manual way, in alcohol.
Then he was going to throw it in the machine after that!!
Blows me away to think how potent
that batch is going to be, fak!
It's funny, I was never really an edible kind of guy. I liked to smoke, and vape.
And I originally begun this tincture journal to help out my dad, but after testing this stuff for the past week, I'm in love.
Such a great alternative to smoking, and such a clean beautiful high!
I'd love to make some honey oil!
Let me know when you get er done!
