VG's Prescription For Success With Atreum Lighting, Weed Seeds Express & Prescription Blend

Those are some attractive young ladies! :Rasta:

Good luck with the week 3 feed! :nomo:

Great looking young ladies, VG!
so they weren't so lanky
They're not too bad- won't matter a bit in 2 or 3 weeks...what type of training is on their agenda?

I'm looking forward to being able to say "sticky chickies," but in the meantime they look happy!
Lol. Cute.

I shall attempt to quadline them.
I'm not that great at training plants and that's probably because I don't really do it that often.
I like growing little trees .:)

Hey y'all.

The lil @Weed Seeds Express chickies were ready for their week #3 feed.
They had just started to wilt a little bit so they were good and dry.
Here they are at day #28.

We should know in a few days how well they took to the increase of nutes.
So far the Prescription Blend had been easy to use and it only takes me about three or four minutes to mix it up.
I completely forgot to do a pH reading on the new dosage. I'll try to remember to grab one next time.

Hope y'all are well.
Your pH should be the same as for the week 2, maybe a point lower in soft water but generally not much change.

You can put an air stone in a bucket and treat it like a small res or if you don’t have a air stone you can shake your jug of leftover nutrients for a min to mix in air bubbles and get some O2 back into the solution before feeding.

Edit: I said soft water in the first sentence but mixed that up. It was supposed to be for hard water..

I have an extra pump and airstone somewhere. I'll try to locate it today.

I usually use any leftover nutes within three days. Seems like it should be fine.
Thanks.

Are you concerned about the pH of your nute mixes, and if so, why?
I'm not.
I'm just curious to see what it says.
Figure that I should use the pH pen I just calibrated too.

I had already planned that I wasn't going to pH my nutes. It's been a few years since I've done that.

Here are the @Weed Seeds Express Chickies on day #30 since sprout.
I'll be topping them this evening or tomorrow morning.

I checked their roots this morning and they are white and feathery.
Almost ready for transplant.

Pretty green.
Haircuts and big girl pots already...they grow up so fast....
They sure do.
They seemed bigger this morning when I checked on them.
Haven't topped them yet. I had a bunch of chores to catch up on. Lots of stuff got neglected when I was sick.
Plants were ok though. That's fantastic because I don't remember feeding them much.

From what I see they don’t seem to have any objections to that week 3 feed.
None that I'm seeing either.
They are loving it!

Looks like all systems “Go” for launch.. :thumb:
Lol.They should get some more rocket fuel in a few days.
I think that's when I'll transplant them.
I plan on planting those ladies deep and fluffing up those roots.

I need to decide if I want to use an 2 gallon pot interim and then a five or just go straight to the five?

Lol. You want a pic?

I just grabbed a few.
Day #31 since sprout...

Happy Chickies=Happy VG!

I have no doubt you can water them correctly in 5 gallon pots, but I think 2 gallons would be an easier way to go.
I looked over hill and dale and couldn't find my extra two gallon pots. This makes me think that I actually don't have any extras.:goof:
The BBx Nachos are in my two gallons revegging right now.
I guess I'll have to use three gallon pots instead.
Not ideal but we can't always get what we want, especially when it comes to growing.
You read my mind! :Rasta:

They look happy with the new dosage of @Prescription Blend.
Good morning.
They get another feeding today, right after I transplant them.
I'll toss up some pics later today.
