VG's Prescription For Success With Atreum Lighting, Weed Seeds Express & Prescription Blend

Hey y'all.
I had a long night. We lost power from around 11:30pm until about 5 am.
I have issues sleeping in silence. I usually have some sort of white noise since my tents are in my bedroom. It was weird not having a bunch of fans running.
I reset all of the timers this morning.
It shouldn't mess with these babies at all since they are still in veg. I hope my other plants don't have issues. They are all in flower. I don't think it will do much.

The WSE babies are on day #26 since sprout. Looking good.

Hmmm...if I'm training I should probably start soon.

They are still moist so it will be a day or two before they get fed again. I noticed that my Atreum was turned down. I must have done it for pics in the last few days. I need to ease that back up now.

I hope you can get a good nap in today.

Extended darkness shouldn’t mess with your bloomers - it’s light (especially red/far red) when they don’t expect it that freaks them out.
I was just a bit concerned because the lights are on from 9 pm to 9 am.
This happened in the middle of their day.
Hopefully the issue is fixed and this won't happen again.

Power companies!

We have issues with ours too! It’s why I bought a generator.
I wish I had that option.
They're autos. They laugh at your power failure and say IDGAF!

Autos..? I must've missed that bit of info....

If they're 26 day old autos, then yes, you should...

Sorry, I meant the flowering ones she was concerned about. I was thinking that meant the DDAs, though I can't keep track of what's flowering where at the Ground house.
I have two DDA and then I have two photoperiod plants that are almost two weeks since flip.
Super Skunk and Peyote Forum.

:gotcha:

Only the autos DGAF then. But I'm sure the other two are fine!
Yeah. I think it will prove to be an annoyance to me and me alone.
Don't think they will be the wiser...

Mebbe @Prescription Blend can share their experience that led them to recommend the same dose of Core A and Core B base nutrients from early veg through flower. And did they ever try anything different?
We chose to setup our feed program this way based on 2 factors and we did test and try many different combinations over the years.

First, the results we had. Having a consistent feed through flower gave the best results. We do have people add our Big Data component during flower for additional PK which changes the nutrient ratios for the flower stage of growth.

Second, ease of use. Having even additions of these components and as little change in how the gardener has to measure/mix as well as trying to only use whole numbers for measurements (who want to measure 3.7mL/Gal?). These things make it easier for gardeners to use the nutrients in a repeatable and consistent way.

I do realize that the leap from week 2 to week 3 is a big one. I am a bit nervous about it but plan on going forth anyway.
We have not had any reports of burning at week 3 nutrient strength increase so I expect your plants to be fine. Obviously that does not mean that is the case for everyone and I'll be interested to see your next post! You could do 75% but from the pic in your last post the look big enough to handle it.

@Prescription Blend
I had another question. Once mixed with water, how long do the nutes stay good for?
If you have your res tank aerated with an air pump/stone or water pump you can keep them 1-2 weeks.

Also, re-reading some of this thread I got confused on the autos. I think your running photos in this grow but if I am mistaken and your growing autos then the feed chart could be to strong for them and there is a note about going down to 50% for autos. If I missed a post on this I apologize.

These are photoperiod plants.
I have autos that I'm growing as well.

I'm not using a res. I'm mixing in a bucket or a jug.

Hey y'all.

The lil @Weed Seeds Express chickies were ready for their week #3 feed.
They had just started to wilt a little bit so they were good and dry.
Here they are at day #28.

We should know in a few days how well they took to the increase of nutes.
So far the Prescription Blend had been easy to use and it only takes me about three or four minutes to mix it up.
I completely forgot to do a pH reading on the new dosage. I'll try to remember to grab one next time.

Hope y'all are well.
