VG After Dark Featuring Weedseedsexpress & Mars Hydro TS1000

How’s it Bluter?

fuzzzyy. off today.

Yep, I started to mention them too. Ha, frigging fungus gnats - they should have stay at home orders too- just not MY home!

i can get some late in hempy grows. they migrate from the house plants.

there has to be some exposed root or root rot though. in my pots the root build presses against the outer edges of the pot, and they get in the sides there. or down the stem.

the perlite in hempy really messes them but they'll still try anyway.

Hey Dutchin, Yes, I’ve got dunks mixed in top layer of soil plus I water with dunks also, but it’s summer, I’m an outdoorsman and have dogs - so for now I’ve got russet or hemp mites plus the fungus gnats. I’m hitting the leaves top and bottom with safers soap and neem, plus spraying top of soil too.

Hi VG, tonning in nad plants look greet as always

Hey VG, how is that spotting on the leaves coming along? just read the last page and cought up a bit. :thumb:

dissolve and add it right in the water mix if you can. super effective in that app. can be added with the nutes as well. otherwise the bugs just stay away from blobs of poison, or they wash out.

don't have access to the same product here any more. would have it on hand just as a treasure chest tool if i could get it.
I added it to this mornings feed as well. My bases should be covered pretty well.

Thanks. I'm working on em.
No worries VG! I saw that you had discovered the scale issue. Really glad it was only that! :green_heart:
Let's hope so. Still at the wait and see part.

Ummm.....Looks slightly worse today actually. I fed them this morning so just need to give it a few days before I panic.

I’ve got the exact same issue going on with 2 of my girls in flower in the 2x4! Same exact kind of spotting on the leaves...didn’t see any bugs either..

did you try spraying them with neem oil like in the shed mentioned? if it is root rot wouldn't the soil smell?

That doesn't remind me of any deficiency I can think of (too splotchy for Mg), which leads me to think it's something on the leaves themselves.
Hey y'all.
Sorry to leave you hanging.
Things haven't really improved much.
Nothing on the leaves and no root rot. Their roots look fine. Feathery and bright white.
Charlotte's leaves are still blotchy but starting to darken up a bit. Sexy is having problems now too.
I'm running slurry tests tonight. My samples have been sitting since this morning.
Based upon that I will adjust and move forward. My guess is that I will have to flush and reset them. Not sure if this is lockout from overfeeding so badly or they got pissed when I lowered their feed after that. Thinking that a reset will at least let me know where I'm standing now.
They look hungry and like they need a little cal-mag.

Nice to have you back here, if for no other reason than to keep Dusted off balance. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Having watched you grow and fix the issues that come your way, I have no doubt that you will turn these around and have an excellent harvest. I also think your kids will be fine with the home schooling, and that eventually you will regain your sanity from home schooling.

I am optimistic!

Wait a second. I'm sure I'm following a grow thread of yours other than this
You are! :laughtwo:
This one is strictly for Mars Hydro lights/tents and Weedseedsexpress plants. The other one is my original/main journal which contains some sponsored equipment and seeds as well as non-sponsored stuff too.

We picked up another computer as we were one short. Our schools just don't have enough for every student to have their own. We are trying to get it hooked up to their district today. It should make things go much smoother.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
I'll do my best to turn things around asap.

No rush. Correction comes at your pace, but come it will!
I have my soil pH results that were taken after my samples sat for 24 hrs.
According to my ProMix guy, 6.2 was the high before measures should be taken, so you're in the "fix this" zone.

Smokey and I just went through this, so try and find some fertilizer that is 12% nitrate and 8% ammoniacal nitrogen. Jack's 20-10-20 is ideal, but I went with GrowMore Orchid 20-10-20 fertilizer from my local nursery. Mix at 2.8g/gallon and use that to water for a week, then retest. That should get you back in the zone.

After I had corrected mine I went to a blend of MC, GrowMore, and Armor Si to create a Frankenstein MC but with more balanced N sources. MC is almost 100% nitrate, which raises the pH of the medium.
