Vetsmoke's Micro Growing Shenanigans

You could wait a few more days and see, if you're still uncertain about the diagnosis.

My magnesium def was eventually joined by calcium def, with the characteristic brown spotting.
Ordered some biobizz calmag that will be here for Friday. Should have a better idea by then.

I feel for you mate. They're really annoying.

The good news is that cannabis really helps the headache. I hope you don't start getting them, but if you do have a vape or joint and it helps quickly. :volcano-smiley:

Your plant looks like Mg deficiency. How is the pH of your soil? A slurry test would tell. Too much fertilizer can lock out Mg. Might just be you need some epsom salts or calmag. Good luck.

Good to know. Thanks. The first couple of waterings very early on were high ph but that was adjusted quickly. Since then it's always been in the correct range. She's barely had any nutrients since starting. Just the last couple of waterings and a light seaweed foliar feed before that. I did add worm castings to the soil mix when I transplanted her so maybe that's thrown the soils ph off. Although I'll have to look back to see if she had these symptoms before transplant. I would've presumed I'd see some tip burn if the castings made the soil too hot.

The ladies today. I decided to remove the ties off Jess yesterday. Don't think there's any danger she'll get too tall  Red 2 is slowly straightening herself out now. It's like watching a snail race:rofl:

Bigger girl has just had another feed. Same as last time but added 0.5ml calmag. Noticed a couple of the bottom leaves have totally dried up. All curly and crispy. I've about had enough of this plant now  Hopefully the calmag will help and I've dialled the light back slightly in case it's the temp she's struggling with.

She sure is a grumpy thing...doesn't really look like temperature is an issue, but something's sure got her undies in a bunch!
When I had to use calmag, it took about 5 days to see results, so she may start to snap out of it around Tuesday...as you said- it's like watching a snail race:popcorn:

Stroppy little madam. Will keep going with her and see how the calmag goes. Her little sister hasn't started much better either. Half tempted to fire up a different strain just to see if it's these seeds or something I'm not getting right.

Fingers crossed it's not another 5 weeks of her throwing her teddies out the pram and I find that balance to make her happy. Think I'll fix up the old drying tent so when Jess is done I can finish off her little sister and start the photo seedlings. See how we're looking for space in the cabinet at that point.

You'll get 'er there I'm sure! And if not she'll be a good testing ground for dialing everything in.

What's her base nute feed like? I also wonder if an N def is possible, although I can't remember if we already talked about that. But makes sense to wait to see what the CalMag does first.

I wondered that. Last 2 feeds she's had 1Ltr water with 1.5ml grow, 1ml seaweed extract, 1ml bloom and 1ml topmax. Before that she had 1 watering with seaweed extract and 1 foliar feed with that too. There's 1Ltr of worm cast in the soil mix so I thought that might keep her going for the first few weeks.

The wee one I potted in just the light mix soil but with even more perlite added. That's what I did with the Northern Lights I grew out in the same size pot and she loved it. I watered her today with approx. 0.25Ltr. I'd mixed 0.5ml grow into 1Ltr of water. See how she liked that over the next couple of days.

Yeah I too want to try out more perlite for my next grow/transplant.

Seems they looooove the fast drainage.

I guess the outer limit of how much to use depends on how much I want to have to water :laughtwo:
Yeah these little pots end up needing water once or twice a day. I don't mind that though. Jess was looking even worse this morning. Hopefully I can get her to the finish line. If it's not looking likely in a week or two I think I'll order a photo CBD seed and run that alongside the gorilla glue.

Just realised you were absolutely correct  She had one that started off a bit funky. I'm losing it. Last week I made some lunch and then the Mrs opened up the fridge and asked me why there was a loaf of bread in there:rofl:
Hey bro sorry for the late reply and the bad convo lol I literally smashed my phone to bits as soon as I read your message and was replying and DROP, SMASH , FUK!
