Vetsmoke's Mars Hydro Hempy Happening - Powered By The FC3000

It's a bucket of perlite with 2" of water in the bottom from what I can make of it Trala lol
I'm seriously considering this lamp Vet, you got me sold on it 👍
It is nice mate. I even like that the driver bracket gives an air gap under the driver when you sit it on something outside the tent. Still on 75% at the moment.

Basically what Roy said. It's a bucket of perlite with a hole drilled about 1.5" up from the bottom in this case. Usually anything between that and 2" is good. You water until runoff comes out the hole then the bottom of the bucket acts as a reservoir. It's passive hydro. Pretty new to me too. @bluter drew me in with his grows.
So why not put a pump in the bottom and recirculate it, like flood n drain?

Because that would be something else? It's a very cheap and simple hydro method. Nothing required apart from a bucket and perlite. No batteries required. Lol.

Day 50. Took a few lower fan leaves off each one. Most of the tops are 11-13" tall now. Thinking I'll probably flip them around 18".

Thanks Bill. Filling the tent nicely now. Just got to time the flip right. Don't think I want them any taller than 3ft in those pots.

Busy as always but managing. Hope you're well too friend.

I am good thank you sir.
If your hoping to stay under 3 feet I wouldn't be pondering too long.
At the rate they are going now you will have 3 footers in no time.
Then you'll need pulleys to hold them up. ;)
Take care.

Wall to wall beauties in there, Vet!
Strong growers, too- I hope they comply with the 3 foot limit!

Morning vet.
Looking a bit droopy this morning. Not sure why.
It was 70% humidity here this morning. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.:hmmmm: Or they just want more frequent watering.

Waiting on my flowering nutrients still.
I usually wait until stretch is nearly done to swap over to flower nutes myself. So even if you flip you've got a safe week with grow nutes.
plants looking so good.
Have a good day bud.

They were watered last night after being a little dry. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Humidity was 51% in the tent this morning. Probably flip at the end of this week. Cheers buddy. Have a great one.

Yeah..mines gone back down to 50 % now..I've been burping jars in the kitchen so there's a meter on the micro wave. When I woke at 05.30 it was 70%. Must have been a big humidity spike last night.
Did feel very warm and muggy yesterday evening so that wouldn't surprise me actually. Could've been it.

I have all the parts for the drip irrigation system now but the Mrs won't let me actually have them and start building it until my birthday on Wednesday. I guess it's fair. Ordered a DWC level indicator kit to add to the bucket too. Thought that would be useful for knowing how much is in there, topping up and testing pH without taking the lid off and disturbing things too much.

Looking great this evening. Maybe in the morning they're just a little tired after 18 hours sunbathing under the @Mars Hydro FC3000. Tallest are 14" now.

I've colour coded the main branches so you can see which is which. Anything in the middle is the Skunk too.

Yellow=Platinum Cookies, Blue=Godfather OG, Green=Skunk, Red=Med, Purple=Pungent Skunk.

Omg this grow is zooming along!

I swear warm weather is the best for veg. Flower not so much.

My veg growth is so slowwwwww.
Thanks T! I feel like this one has taken forever to get going. Lol. We are on day 52. This was the auto Pineapple Express at the same age.
