Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

Yeah I'm wanting to try a Jack strain as it always pops up on low odour lists and it sounds like the kind of smoke I enjoy. Was a nice surprise when it popped up saying I'd get 3 free seeds. Now can't make my mind up between the blue mystic or some cream tangerine from sweet seeds. There's just so much choice. Ha ha
 
Well I've gone and done it now. Went for,

1 x Candy Kush FAST fem (RQS)
3 x Cream Mandarine FAST fem (sweet seeds)

Freebies
3 x Jack Herer Fem (seedsman)
1 x Free sweet seeds

Also found a 20% off coupon code so got all that for £26 delivered. Winner winner chicken dinner.

So the next journal will be popping my photoperiod cherry. Fingers crossed the rest of this grow goes okay.
 
Thought I'd add this since I haven't stated for a while but #1 is now 41 days above ground & #2 is 38 days.

Edit: First pistils at the 3 week point, dead on.
 
#1 has had a good feed just now. She's on half the recommended nutrient dose for the stage. Slowly bumped up from starting around 1/8th. Still looking healthy. Picked off a couple of dying small leaves getting no light in the middle. She's started to get a little frost on her too. Only a bit but it's excited me. Ha ha.

#2 is now a staggering 9 inches tall. Looking okay but those lower leaves are dying off pretty fast now. Doesn't seem to be spreading higher up at the moment.

Quantum board should be here by Tuesday. Already looking into utilising the old lights in a wardrobe in the spare room for a veg/clone box. Ha ha.

Only my 2 cents here, my Jack Herer Auto from RQS has almost no smell yet. It might change over time, but she has shown pistils for quite a while now without any smell. I sometimes even lean over her and put my nose down into the middle of the plant, but nothing at all. I would have to think my nose went wrong, but then I can clearly smell my AK, so no, it's just that Jack is not so stinky.

Your girls are coming along nice, Vet. I'm sure it'll be a pleasure to smoke them soon. Will you immediately put the quantum board into use, or is that for the next grows?

Thanks Alice. Can't wait to be smoking them. Ah that's good to know about the Jack. The quantum board will be going straight into the cabinet.

Amazing how quick they start filling out once they get going.

#2 is gradually getting worse. More leaves yellowing and a brown patch on one midway up. Looked at a chart and it suggests nitrogen deficiency. Might try giving a higher dose of the biogrow on the next feed.
