Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

After the failed lighting experiment the girls are back to being as happy as pigs in sh*t. Only concern is although #2 is still drying up each day, I'm no longer getting any run off when I feed her the same amount. She's still sucking it all up right now though. Possibly the roots are blocking the drainage holes or something but it looks like soil at the holes.

I'm gonna suggest that you up her quantity of water-they start getting thirsty when they're doing a lot of growing-and if there's still no runoff, make sure the drains aren't blocked-if her roots sit in water for long
she'll get unhappy real fast...
They do,however, look extremely happy right now!

Yeah I was thinking of trying that tomorrow. The pot gets dry as a bone each day so I don't think the roots are sitting in any water. I'll give her some more and see what happens. Cheers

Don't sweat it :) mine is drawing 27,8 in a 1 sq foot, still gave me 44 g of dried bud.
Watts mostly come with more heat, as there is light/ heat efficiency factor in every lights. So If I were you, I'd get myself some decent (reputable) LED lights, set it up so the temps are at bay, and forget about watts. You can't jump over your belly button, so if you have a small space and have to keep things quiet, you will need to make compromises regarding light intensity.

That's some comfort then. Thanks. Got a new link in my signature of a light build I put together last night. Think I'll do it for the next grow now.
Checked it, and think there is one question you need to answer yourself - is it worth it? I mean it comes at 110 quid, plus some fair amount of elbow grease. I'd suggest to look into some ready (or close to it) to use options. Like Quantum Boards for example. One board would be enough, and a board, combined with a driver should cost you roughly the same. All you need to do is connect the driver to the board and you're ready to go. I am a bit biased, as I am using it myself, but there wer not a single minute I regret buying it.

Yeah that did cross my mind. I started looking at the quantum boards but they seem to be like rocking horse shit over here. Unless you spend a fortune. Think I can get one from the states for about £60 plus £39 delivery. That's just the board. I'll do some more hunting tonight.

The girls seem happy enough right now anyway. Hoping those flowers are progressing as they should be. #2 has a yellowed lower leaf but not concerned right now.

Well, an MW LPF-60D-24 driver would cost, I think, around 25 quid. So you're pretty much stay in the budget minus the elbow grease..
I'll definitely look into this more tonight then. Thanks for the info. Are you running the V1 or V2 board?

ebay for quantums mate
found a guy onthere makes them up
also can order from china, just ordered one final 240w board to finish my set off.
spent about £7-750 on about 840watts of quatum light lol
you can get them from £114-147 roughly for 120w boards or 200-260 for a 240w board. all with mw drivers and samsung boards.
have a look

Ha ha yeah it's that new parent freak out moment. Really need to research the plant anatomy and life cycle in more depth. Kind of neglected that and focussed on the growing environment etc. Thanks a lot, I do have to admit she is my favourite. Love how she's turning out.
