I'm not sure this matters as most people starting with coco seem to do a 50/50 grow. They start with almost organic style as some Coco mixes have worm cast or compost of some sort and which will feed the plants then they unknowingly take all the work off the microbes by feeding hydro style. But either way it doesn't affect the plants negatively does it?

I been looking at growing styles with Coco as you have Coco hydro, Coco organic then I'm calling it Coco hybrid where people seem to be using a mixture of the two.

I accidentally stumbled upon it being a new guy to growing and I basically grew in compost coir which I was feeding organic but with a hydro watering schedule.
Well I've tried various mixes and come to this conclusion:
Plain coco with hydro schedule/nutes works best - consistent pH, drainage and Oxygen
The minute you add organics you run into pH/feeding quandary
Bio Grow is great for young plants in coco but that's all

When it rains it pours. The WWxNL really isn't happy and I discovered at some point recently I'd snapped a branch on the Mac N Cheese. No idea how I did that. Can't find my electrical tape anywhere either.

Apart from that they aren't looking too bad although I can see something coming through on some of the lower leaves.

Yeah I'll try to save her but maybe it's just not meant to be this round.

It is surprising what they can recover from. Had one hanging by a few threads in my first grow and it came back fine after being taped on.

She will be fine look after her as i know you will and she will be that little one in the middle
Come flower. :thumb:
Turned the light down to 25% over night to see if that helps. I figured a couple of days lower light intensity shouldn't impact the bigger girls too much but the respite might help the little one. Next step will be a good flush with plain pH'd water and then a light feed. The Shogun calculator said 1.8ml/L A&B the other day but I refreshed it last night and it said 1.2ml 🤷

Holy shit man 😲

Ye im not over 1ml to L until week 3 ish.
Not a fan of there calculator seems it always gives me higher levels than there older chart did. :thumb:
Thanks mate. I think tonight I'll see how she's looking and probably give a flush and then feed with 0.8-1ml/L.

Ye mate for me with shogun week one
0.5 l ml to L a/b
0.5 to1 ml to L calmag
0.5 / ml to L Katana roots

Depending how they look i will up that to the 1ml to L week two a/b.
Week three im at 1.5 ml to l a/b keeping the calmag and roots at 1to1.5 ml to L
If some strains think its to hot i back of some no tip burn and its upto 2ml to L before flower.
But thats what works kinda for me in my space heat r/h etc and so on ;)

Happy growing :ganjamon:

It seems what I've done has slowed down or maybe even stopped the deterioration. Pretty sure she's grown a little and the newest growth still looks okay.

Glad to see that, she'll be fine with your effort.

Nice job on the WXxNL- she looks totally happy now...
And the other 2 look just about perfect!
Well done, Vet !
