Yeah with mega crop. I've seen people have had mixed results with it recently, but both times I've used it they've been my best plants. I'd like to try the GeoFlora stuff but can't get it over here.Wow! looking great. That’s with Mega Crop? I’ve been totally underwhelmed with the stuff.
Yeah that doesn't sound like something you'd wanna stick with. I haven't added any calmag but I live in a hard water area. Just added the silica throughout and thought I'd try the top-max in flower. She seems to be loving it. I've got some deficiencies on the bonsai mothers but I think that's because they're root bound. Have too see how the next lot get on with it. Were you feeding every watering?I’m using Promix and Sunshine mix - basically the same thing. I mostly max out my heavy feeders in flowering at around 6 gr/gallon. Could that be too much? I’ve tried higher, and lower. Also I’ve tried with and without calmag and with calmag seemed better. Plants have white spots like mild calcium deficiencies all through veg and by flowering show fairly bad calcium (I think) deficiencies. Increasingly bad deficiencies up to the end. Inferior health, appearance, growth rate, smell, and end product . What’s to like really?
Even in veg, which generally isn’t rocket science, once I switched away from MC the plants started to glow and grow much faster than I’ve seen them grow all year.
I'll have to follow along and see what you find out.Yeah feeding every watering, with rare exceptions. As I said I’m going to run a few victims with it on different variations of MC, vs other nutrients, and see if they cough up the secrets of the universe.
It's supposed to be part of maintenance for bonsai mothers. Apparently done once or twice a year, but I felt this one was starting to suffer from being rootbound so tried it a bit early. We'll see what happens. These are for me to play around learning new techniques. What are you trying to achieve with the root chopping?
