Van Stank's Nukehead Sponsored Grow

looking real nice, moving along pretty quickly now.

Yeah they are....take care of the roots and they will take care of you brother! Things will be picking up steam quickly around here! Thanks for swinging through Yeti, always nice to see you brother! Hope you are having a great week and your girls are luscious and green!

I really like the structure that a manifold provides. I'll probably be doing something similar in the new space to what i did with my Nuke but I'm thinking a simple topping, ponytail and lst for the Grapie. Who knows what I'll do next lol just gotta do the electric, ventilation and lights and I'll be popping beans! Can't wait to see what you do with the quad!

Thanks bud, I always enjoy stopping through and watching the progress on the girls! I hope your week is great as well and your girls continue to treat you right :high-five:

Lookig great Van. Crqzy tight little plants. I ove the buds on my little one. They are some of the hardest nugs ive ever grown. Only issue is i really think it needs the veg time to get its size up there before flowering . Im going to grab a clone and root and reveg it and will maybe try it again as i never gave it the chance it deserved to do it justice. My little baby looks like about a 56-63 day flowerer depending on how you like it.

They will get plenty of time to get bigger. I intend to give them at least 8 weeks, perhaps a bit longer and they will be going in 10 gallon pots so hopefully they will get nice and big. Thanks for the flower time update. I figured it was about that time frame based on how she looks like she is growing. Very indica leaning in nature thus far. Onwards, outwards, and upwards!!

Tight node spacing is an understatement. I look forward to seeing you quad that thing and documenthow you do it ase went through it but i am still not 100% sure i understand. If i remember correctly he topped at the fourth. And removed one and 3.

Quick Nukehead Update

Haven't updated in a few days so here is a quick shot and an update. I watered them again last night about a quart of ACT per plant. They looked VERY happy this morning. No nutrients other than the ACT every 3 days or so in these pots at this point. They will be getting their first pest prevention treatment this weekend.

So I had a plan for these two girls going into this grow. Originally I intended to Main-line one Nukehead and to quadline the other one. Well that plan has changed. Ms Stank and I are extremely intrigued with this strain and in particularly Nukehead #2.

Nukehead #2 is just barely 5 inches tall, but get this.....she is on her 10th node. So my plan is not touch her at all. I want to see how this strain, particularly this pheno, grows naturally. I will main-line the other Nukehead to see how she likes a little abuse and bondage. Oh the other interesting thing about the #2 pheno is that the stem is essentially uniform in thickness from the bottom to the top. The stem looks like a 5 inch pencil....no tapering at all.

Shes super pretty. How close are you to your light? Which light is she under again?

I think most of us would like to see what she looks like in her natural state.

She is throwing out 11 bladed fan leaves already. Hoping I get one of the ones that throws out the 15 blades.

Its funny, I have never wanted to NOT train a plant. I never thought I would want to see a plain plant but this strain has us very intrigued!

Well.....thats a two answer question. They were under a small 96 watt T5 with 6400k spectrum for about 10-14 days (I would have to look at the journal to find the specific move date). From there she went into the little tent under the Perfect Sun Dwarf Star LED. That light probably started out about 35" above the canopy. Its probably about 26-30" after growth and up-potting her. None of the plants are stretching at that distance so I will continue to let them grow to the light. I like this distance....especially for this strain. She is growing really fast......and better yet the Stank Soil is giving them everything they want or need!

She's doing amazing. Loving the idea of "Stank soil" more everyday. You've clearly found the "sweet spot"!

Nukehead Veg Day 21 Update

Gave everyone a quick shot of the Nukeheads above, but I wanted to give a full update. Temps are rising with the Dwarf Star in the little 2x2 tent. I have to keep the zipper cracked halfway with the lights on to keep the temps below 85 (will hit 90+ if I keep it closed tight). I will be replacing the veg tent from the 2x2x4 tomorrow to a 2x4x5. Hopefully the extra room will make it a bit easier to keep the temps down. Was going to do it today but with my back acting up, I figured it was best to wait for Ms Stank to help.

Measured the two Nukeheads for the first time today. Nukehead #1 is about 3.5" tall and is on its 7th Node. The Nukehead #2 is just over 5" tall and is on its 10th Node which is kind of mind boggling to me. I know I haven't grown a lot of Indicas but damn it man, she is one tight little wench!!

Feedings - only ACT consisting of 1 cup of EWC with 1 teaspoon of dried ground Kelp in 2.5 gallons of water. Please note that the 2.5 gallons isn't strictly for these two Nukeheads, its also for all household plants. Each Nukehead is getting about a quart (32 oz) of ACT about every 3 or so days. That time period between waterings will likely shorten as their roots spread and they get bigger. Soil seems about right where I want it. No signs of being too hot or any deficiencies. It's rolling along nicely.....I am loving the deep green these girls are showing me.

Training - None yet. As stated before, I am cancelling the training on Nukehead #2 all together in favor of growing her out naturally. All I will do to #2 is continue with the leaf tip spreading, and add a little defoliation. Its kind of becoming sort of a science project from an observation stand point. I will be topping Nukehead #1 tonight to begin its main lining journey.

Nukehead #1 - I feel a little bad, I have been ranting and raving about #2 and have kind of been neglecting my coverage of her little sister....so here she is!

Dont get more compact than that. Coming along nicely. Be thick once they branch out.

She certainly is a compact girl! I am very curious to see how they flower out. Guess I will find out in another 5 weeks when I flip her!
