Van Stank's Nukehead Sponsored Grow

In those days it was the AH-1 Cobra, but I was qualified in the UH-1 Iroquois “Huey”, OH-58 Kiowa, AH-1 Cobra, and the bad ass of all, the AH-64 Apache. It was truly another life that I enjoyed the hell out of. Technically, I’m also qualified in the BO-105 which is a German helicopter. I absolutely loved strapping that Apache on though...I swear to God it made my nuts hard! :tokin:

Sorry if I offended anyone. There are Marines here after all...

Seriously though, I’d feel real comfortable with a Marine watching my six. I have mad respect for Devil Dogs.

I got to ride in a Cobra over in Iraq in 91'. One of the Captains from HMLA-369 offered to take me up. What a freaking blast. Not as much fun as getting launched off an aircraft carrier, but its still freaking pucker factor chart topper! Good times man. Landing on a carrier is a hoot too....just a different kind of one.

Massage Oil Recipe (Body Lotion)

A few of you were interested in the massage oil recipe that Ms Stank made for me recently. She got the recipe from a member on here named Magnus8, so all the credit goes to him. Repeat...we didn't create this.....we recreated it. We followed his recipe to the 'T' except for the amount of cannabis we used. We only used one ounce (and a few extra grams) instead of the two he calls for because we weren't sure if we were going to like an oil instead of a lotion so we didn't want use that much cannabis if we weren't positive it was for us. Having said that, I am extremely pleased with the results using roughly 50% of the called for amount.

Now I used the Magic Butter Machine 2 to make the oil so we have to use at least 2 cups of oil. So I will give the %'s for each type of oil as well as the actual amounts for a 2 cup batch of oil (which is a large batch for my use).

35% Pumpkin Seed Oil (5.6 ounces)
25% Rice bran Oil (4 ounces)
10% Fractionated Coconut Oil (1.6 ounces)
10% Grape Seed Oil (1.6 ounces)
10% Hazelnut Oil (1.6 ounces)
10% Sweet Almond Oil (1.6 ounces)

Mix all the oil into your Magic Butter Machine (or crockpot). Add between 1 ounce (28 grams) and 3 ounces (84 grams) of decarbed bud. (We went with 1 ounce and I am not sure I would use more than that for a batch this size, I can always apply a heavier amount of oil if needed). We ran our oil on the 190 degree setting for 8 hours (I would probably try dropping the temp to 160 next batch to see if there is a difference). Strain the oil through coffee filters for a better strain but be warned, it takes a while but eliminates the plant matter all together.

Now according to Magnus, the pumpkin seed oil is the key to the rapid absorption and such fast relief. You could probably substitute some other type of oil for it but you might be losing the key to the whole thing. No I haven't tried it with anything else to compare it to but I can attest to how quickly it is absorbed and relief is provided. Having said this....the pumpkin seed oil is dark and makes your whole batch dark. Use caution with the darker oil if you have light skin or wear light clothing. The oil does smell strongly of cannabis so its not something you want to apply if stealth is needed or you are leaving your house for important tasks.

You can add essential oils to help with the smell a little bit. Magnus recommends peppermint and tea tree essential oils. We added 15 of each, but I would recommend trying a few more for a 16 oz batch. We added the essential oils after we cooked the oil in the MBM2.

If you are using a crockpot to make this, Magnus cooks his for 18 hours on low setting.

I can't compare this to any other recipe......so this will be our baseline to compare to going forward. Ms Stank wants to work on a lotion now. Good thing she is starting to grow or else she is going to go through me stash before I know it!

:thumb:I used Magnus's advice on pumpkin seed oil also, I used 2 cups in the MB2 machine and ran it thru 3 times with fresh decarbed bud each time and max out the amount allowed, I added about 1/2 cup cold pressed hemp oil on the third run through the MB2 to make it 2 cups because of loss in straining. When strained I added Manuka tree oil to prevent bacterial, fungal, and viral infection. My medical cannabis license is for R arthritis and this lotion gives great relief for aches and pains in all joints. I have also used it on my scalp with has very thin touchy sore skin from years of hitting vehicles while working beneath them. The oil has helped the skin toughen up. No end to this plants wonders :Namaste:

I've being anxiously awaiting the arrival of that recipe...... Great that you added in your own personal notes so that it was tailored to your needs. Also I enjoyed discovering that you were using your mb2 machine for the cooking stage. How long did you decarb your bud for and at what temp?? Also Dynamo, thank you for the additional information...... I'll keep this in a safe place.

I've kept a log of Arctic bowls and Dave Groomers pain creams as well as Bodes CBD OIL if you'd like them.....just let me know.

Thank you both for sharing........cant wait to try this!

COME ON GIRLS.......GROW, GROW, GROW!!!

I'm siting here taking photos with a iPhone 4 that is dramatically slowed down Thanks to Apple! Van -YouTube your camera and keep nuke 1 unless she dies! Mine didn't grow for almost 2 weeks if you remember. Then that bitch shot up quick. I'm working on the mites issue with just water. I don't trust my $1 store soap lol

I never upgraded my IOS so I'm assuming I'm still unaffected personally. I never upgraded after I read they were purposely slowing down older iPhones (well and procrastination thankfully) what was the reason again do you know? I want to say it was because of the batteries are getting older but that's some bullshit.

My battery is messed up though truth be told lmao but I'll take it versus another throttle. My phone will show 1% when I wake up if I leave it off the charger and it will die and do everything a low battery phones does but if I connect it to a charger it'll instantly become 50-60% and work fine. But if I let that damn phone die it starts over from 1% even though it's really not dead or wasn't at least. That's it too thankfully no random problems with it it stays charged well when im using it it's just when I leave it alone for an extended period.

iPhones are notorious for dying with decent battery life left. When I had my 4s there were times it would die with 30% battery left. The phone was only about a year old. Yes Apple claims they throttle the speed to help extend battery life but I call bs. i am surprised your phone works ok without doing the ios updates. Every time I needed to update my iPhone it would tell me I was out of storage space. I could take pictures or anything until I updated. then I would go from no space back to an almost empty memory cache. How tf that works out I have no clue. I have some issues with my galaxy and at first i did not thing it was as user friendly as my iPhone, but I do not have the same issues I had before. Over all I am much happier with my galaxy. Also if my battery decides to shit the bed I can just buy another one and swap it on my own. No need to go pay so shop $150 to do it.

Thats awesome that you have used it as well and its worked for you. I find it amazing in the ways that this plant can help you. And to think, we are just learning the tip of the iceberg as it relates to its healing abilities. Exciting times we are part of my friends!

Subbed. Awesome u got a sponsored grow van stank.

Hey Neil, glad to see you made it over! We also started a perpetual journal to start capturing all our other strains, please feel free to hop over there as well. Its in my signature.

Hey Guy, thanks for asking about the decarb part. For that, I have the Nova decarboxilator. I just throw the bud in the little cup, put the top on it, and press the button and I come back an hour or so later and the light has changed color. We prefer the Nova for the odor control as we don't want our landlord to smell what we are up to. From my understanding, you can use the oven and decarb it at about 200-230 degrees for 40 min up to an hour.

I don't know why they were slowing them down, but I think it was to spur people who owned older phones to 'have to' upgrade due to the 'outdated technology'. Thats a marketing tactic I can't stand and make me thankful I don't give them any money (Not saying Samsung is any better).

Jay, I am not going to do anything to the Nukehead #1. I will give her every shot at making it, but if things don't improve quickly I am going to drop another Nukehead bean and see what I get with that one. Hopefully #1 is just a mutant that is a slow starter but amazing finisher.

I'm still a couple updates back and the phone runs smooth as can be just that battery issue when I leave it alone. Will it upgrade on the network or wifi only? My phones never on wifi and I know iPhone for some reason hates letting me use my data as I wish and throttled me to 100-150mb downloads like assholes. I'm an android person myself too I just got the damn iOS because I haven't had one since I traded an old iPod for an iPhone 2 lmao when I was a kid.

It requires wifi that's why it hasn't made me download it I don't have wifi haha eat that Apple. I haven't updated this phone since I've bought it over a year ago.

I love my Galaxy but having never had an iPhone, I can't compare. I just don't like the shady stuff I think Apple does with some of their products......'allegedly'.

I just read an article that said apples next update is supposed to give the users the option of slowing down their phone or not... Obviously a lot of people didn't agree with them lol. Still probably won't upgrade. You aren't missing much... I used to love my old jailbroken iphone but it's different now all phones are it's just harder to customize and you really have to be cautious of bricking a damn phone nowadays because you are fucked if you do.

I haven't updated this phone since I've bought it over a year ago.

I do not know how it works. I would think you could do it just using 3G. It is odd that your phone does not let you use data. At first I hated my android but have since enjoyed the change. I am glad it works smooth. I just see all of my iPhone friends complain about not having space when they have to do an update. Maybe it has changed with later ios versions.

Yes Stank I think Apple pulls some shady shit. I agree with your reason for why they throttle their older hones. It is all just a tactic to try and force people to spend more money on their products. As if every one has enough money to buy a $1000 phone every year or two.

I guess apple saved me a headache by causing me a thousand others... its annoying when I can't download a 152mb app lmao it's like Apple is my parent telling me what and what I can't play... Idk if I even like that app... And thanks to Apple I never will... Though I probably wouldn't ever play that game I'd like the option. (It was just a random example I'm aware it's a kids game lol or appears to be) seems insane a phone company can limit something like that... Minds well tell me what news I can and can't watch too while it's at it lmao. I wouldn't have bought IOS if I would have known about this ahead of time.

Apple does shady shit to sell more hardware for sure, but Google's entire business model with Android is collecting data and personal information to sell it and custom tailored ads based on it. That scares me more. Even so as a developer I do still have both Android and iOS devices, I much prefer iPhone's UI smoothness but Android's customizability. They are both good and bad at some things.

Side note it's only $29 to get your iPhone battery replaced now.

That is ignorant. I never had any issues like that but I would have probably smashed my phone if I ran into that problem :laughtwo: I didnt even run into that with my Iphone 3gs that I had. I will say my first galaxy sucked. It was an s3 and I had almost no service any where. My s5 is so much better than the s3 but it is the only one that uses a different charger. I am ok with the different charger though as I went through 10 or more for my s3.

Oh god, don't get me started on Google......I hate those bastards. Talk about a bullshit business. They are almost as bad as our federal government and the corruption that reigns in all the halls of DC.
